kill it with fire!!
kill it with fire!!
GM is a great asset to have aboard. He's just as talented and creative as ABC and a bit less neurotic.
Hey! It's me!
I think he lurks once in a while. He does have an email addy in his sig. You should try that.
He's a decent bloke, I'm sure he'll get in touch.
Hang on... I'm downloading the SL version as we speak and then I learn of the DVD9 version?
SWEET!!
I will have them all!
So when Doc Brown provided Marty with the 2015 clothing, he included some 2010 Nike Air Mags that he bought on ebay. They were probably just taking up space in the trunk* the whole time.
My big question is do these new effects make the series actually interesting? It doesn't sound like it.
What tomfoolery is this? This is a Chuck internet forum.

I take the point about not "re-using footage" as a complete dismissal, I have been re-using footage to convey my ideas as I am not the best artist, and It would seem that instead of anyone who can do descent art saying I see what you mean but how about this because you are re-using footage.... It seems that people who are not doing the CGI are putting alot more effort and thought into this project and exploring more ideas with little or no visualising going on.
Thats how I feel about it frankly
Anyway with reference to the Vader Luke Duel on DSII...... Vader says "Obi-Wan has Taught you well" but Yoda has basically taught Luke much more atleast in this version so would it be worth inserting an audio clip of luke saying "Yoda" after this line to serve as a correction to Vader.... A bit more of a battle of words, and a revelation that Yoda was still alive atleast at the begining of the movie.
It bugged me when I did my re-cut but had not thought of it again until just now...
Bold and underlined. Strong feelings for sure.
I wouldn't mind keeping the Obi-wan line in the cut. It is a good reminder that the old story was Obi-w and and Vader/Anakin. Besides, it may be viewed that Vader may not have known Yoda was alive, but that Vader understood that Ben had indeed become one with the force and had become more powerful than Vader had previously imagined. If such is the case, it isn't a big stretch of the imagination to think Ben was training Luke.
^Kill it with fire!!
I used to take hour long walks in the evenings until winter rolled around. Now I need a new alternative.
Boba Fett....that's a tough one. I think if we can do more things with him and his death, we should. If we can't, at least have Han PURPOSELY hit him into the Sarlaac. But I'm really against his non-inclusion.
And Lando needs to live. Lando dying wouldn't be tragic so much as it would be anti-climactic. Plus the Falcon flying away from the exploding Death Star is one of the most iconic scenes in ROTJ.
Anyways, that's just my opinion.
I'd be interested in seeing Han purposefully knock a dazed Boba Fett off of the skiff. Maybe someone could at least demo it to make sure flows decently.
And Lando dying would only be a change for the sake of making a change. While the earlier foreboding of Han worrying that he wouldn't see the Falcon again may open the door for Lando becoming space-bacon, the scene works just as well for a future scene of Han dying, rather than Lando. But because such a scene exists, doesn't make it a requirement for either one to die.
It is too bad we don't have footage of Han reassuring Leia that Luke made it out alive and then Leia mockingly reassuring Han that the Falcon made it out alive as well.
I try when I can. Deal with it.
Thanks for the good work, Bob.
Hey, there is something interesting going on in the forums. Cool.
Had you decided on the musical number in Jedi? My vote is to cut it entirely. The concept was interesting in Temple of Doom, it doesn't belong in Star Wars.

Poisoning Pigeon's in the Park - Tom Lehrer
Seriously, why has everyone not heard him? My father used to play his music all the time. I have the chemical elements burned into my mind because of him.
I was raised on Tom Lehrer. I've got all of his records, and some of his CD's. And a DVD.
I last listened to Mannheim Steamroller's The Third Door.
Thanks, that's just what I meant.
I'd be satisfied with the major variants on a branching DVD.
Both '77 and '79 versions of Star Wars with multiple audio tracks on the same blu-ray.
The original 70mm and later 70mm/35mm version of Empire with multiple audio tracks on the same blu-ray disc.
'83 version of Jedi with multiple audio tracks.
I don't need 70 different discs. Just a good, solid release without any bells or whistles. No t-shirts, posters or book-ends. I don't even need a fancy case.
Sez the man with the pink cowl.
PSYCHO_DAYV stares at fire all of the time. That's ridiculous.
