I had almost written off my player as scrap before I found them. I actually think it runs better now than when it was new! (The THX-1138 LD capture I sent to myscamore has benefited from it too.) They also sell refurbished machines. Well worth checking out.
It's getting to be like that Twilight Zone episode, where a woman keeps passing that same guy on the road over and over, no matter where she goes.

I ordered from yesasia back on June 21st, it was shipped on the 24th. I got the disc in the mail July 2nd. I did not pay for any premium shipping, either.

I kept the uncorrected version. (It's rare!) The LD jackets split open almost immediately.
I think I saw that costume in person once. (And it's not a cheap Halloween getup!) Can't recall what NIMH movie character it's supposed to be?
The DC copy of the book never had a slipcover. Factory sealed boxes were so tight it probably would have shredded shoving it in!
I gave up on trying to get the discs back in the box, and store them separately to this day.
The only Star Wars related purchase I'm making next week is the DVD of Carrie Fisher's broadway show. ;)

For those planning to buy the set just for the deleted scenes, you should reconsider, it's really not worth it. Check them out on youtube first or something. My feeling is that most will be dissapointed by the deleted scenes.
Also, Wicket's eyes are truly terrifying.
I can't help but think they are still holding some deleted scenes back. Unless there are easter eggs yet to be found...

There are some new full frame copies on Ebay.

I ordered a hard to find title from them last summer, and was pleased with their service.
I call bantha poodoo on the suggestion there was any Laserdisc boycott 20 years ago. I'd be amazed if any of these people have even watched an LD in their entire lives, if they even know what one looks like. ;)

I am thinking that this has something to do with "Droids". I believe there's an "Easter Egg" containing some of that cartoon series as well as some of the Holiday Special (thus the horrible artwork of Fett on the dragon).
Seriously, who the F did this artwork? Why not just include children's crayon drawings.
That pic was painted by Roy Grinnell, who is the official artist of The American Fighter Aces Association and The Commemorative Air Force/American Combat Airman Hall Of Fame. This, along with the Fett riding a lizard and Han and Ewoks painting (different artists, respectively), are prints featured in the book STAR WARS-VISIONS. They are nice enough works on their own, but headscratchingly odd to include when there are more iconic pieces to choose from( Mcquarrie, Struzan, Hildebrandt, etc.)
Reminds me of a Heavy Metal magazine cover. Wish I could recall the name of the comic that ran in it back in the 80's that Lucasfilm might have sued over if they ever saw it!
I'm sure Lucasfilm will be watching to see how the upcoming 3-D reissue of Kimba The Lion King does at the box office.

You didn't expect them to spend more money to make a pan and scan version of a 1993 letterboxed Laserdisc master did you? ;)
Just in case anybody still wants the GOUT, but doesn't want to deal with Ebay or Amazon, yesasia.com seems to still have them in stock, and for different regions. The hitch is some of them are the Pan and Scan SE discs, but the GOUT is letterboxed anyway. ;)
I'm surprised Robot Chicken hasn't done a SW sketch about this yet.
