I would think the Paris premiere is being cancelled out of respect. It would be construed as being in poor taste to have a splashy red carpet event right now.

He and his wife had just moved to Colorado Springs a few weeks ago, and then were evacuated to Denver because of the fires. They didn't have any friends or support out there, but another friend of mine's mom is from there and had her church go to help them out, which they appreciate.

The usual talking heads will be on the airwaves blaming the entertainment industry soon enough. I don't know if anyone can ever find rhyme or reason in the mind of someone deranged enough to shoot a celebrity, a politician, or a group of innocent people.
I happen to live in one of the towns where a theater shooting occurred at a screening of The Warriors in 1979. That cast a long enough shadow the city asked the cable company to black out an HBO showing on Halloween two years later.
I sincerely hope no one here was in the middle of the terrible thing that has happened overnight in Colorado.
Movies have always been a "safe harbor" to me. Some of my happiest memories are from being in a movie theater. For someone to do something like this sickens me and makes me angry.
With all that blue, it would be nice to see someone drop in some inappropriate backgrounds on those things. ;)

Weird to see some of those makeup/costume tests looking so clean. They were part of the blooper reel that circulated among fans as washed out bootlegs for years. Wonder if that's in the extras?

I like that poster! Adam West was my hero when I was a little kid. He actually had the opportunity to play Batman seriously on the final season of the old Superfriends cartoon. I was in nerd bliss when he turned up as the Gray Ghost on Batman TAS.
And Mr. Limbaugh needs to reduce his "intake" and learn how to google things before swallowing his foot on the radio. ;)
Too bad they couldn't bring back Short Round for the last movie and show him following in Indy's footsteps.
That one Star Wars comic crossover with the Indy universe briefly shows a taller older Short Round as Indy's assistant.
I wish the AG-1980 had a pass through mode.
Interesting that the composite is that lousy on an industrial unit.
My experience with the AG-1980 is that even VHS benefits a little from using S-video.

It's analog with CX noise reduction of the earliest U.S. CAV edition recorded off my oldest player, which generally has better analog reproduction than my other machines. The SW and Empire CAV's do not have digital tracks.
I am not familiar with the specs for Mallwalker's capture.
