Any updates? Just wondering...

Moved to the general Star Wars discussion forum for your convenience...
Hey! I like Zardoz...
And I'd wager Connery did the '98 Avengers flick for the money.
Update: I was able to cleanly recapture the bad spot on the VHS, so there's enough to patch the bad part. The tape glitched in a new spot a few seconds later, so something is moving around on there at a microscopic level!
The sound quality beats the old analog LD tracks by a mile.
Was someone planning on taking these captures of mine, and doing something with them?
As I've said in the past, it's more "fun" than the prequels to me. The CW version of Anakin is someone actually likeable, and I can believe is Luke's father.
They actually pulled off the near impossible feat of making Jar Jar tolerable.
And the Chewbacca episodes rocked. ;)
I'm sorry I didn't see your PM sooner. It's a big holiday weekend here in the U.S.
I think you need to have a little patience. Many of the projects around here have taken quite a long time from start to finish. Also, the people I have asked about this have not replied to me yet. They aren't members of the site...
The clone who gets off the troop transport with Obi Wan and Anakin. His death can be a little hard to see though.
That scene is your masterpiece. :)
I think the clone who gets shot off the platform ought to get a Johnny line...

Maybe I'm just too old (30), but I had exactly zero excitement while watching that preview. It seems like people get excited whenever anything SW related is "dark" and has characters striking cool poses with lightsabers (that Old Republic preview comes to mind).
I seem to recall the Clone Wars era being done to death before Revenge of the Sith was even released in theaters. This just looks like more of the same, except that events are getting SO big (Maul coming back to life) it just seems absurd that nobody will ever mention these events in RotS (not that I'm a big fan of that movie).
Maul could just as easily die before the events of Episode III. Just like Ashoka has to either disappear or die before the series is over.
It could all be "old news" by the time the events in the movie take place.

How on Earth will you create the sound of a thousand Johnny's for the finale?
Beats me. It doesn't help that Vegas Platinum limits how many audio tracks I get. On the other clips I just used an extra center track so I could have two laughs at a time overlapping, but anything beyond that may be beyond my capabilities.
If someone else wants to take a crack at it, feel free! And call me maybe. :p
Maybe there is a separate audio program you can build up the Johnny's with? I knew a garage band back in college that did some pretty neat tricks with a multichannel recorder mixer. There must a computer equivalent of that out there.
Anybody got Ben Burtt's cell number? ;)
Wiseau also appeared in an episode of "Tim and Eric".
If Yoda could say "moo cow", that might fit the lip movement better.
Perhaps an anguished cry of "moo!" off camera before we actually see it?
That shot is so going to bake people's minds if they don't know where it's from. ;)

Someone at Fox must have really liked King of The Hill, or Mike Judge had blackmail photos of someone. ;)
There were times when they would air back to back episodes in Futurama's timeslot.

No walking on sunshine for Duke Dooku?
Greenie has a sad. :(
If Frink uses that shot BobGarcia74 cooked up with Maul's speeder still roaming the wastes of Tatooine, there already will have been a callback to that gag.
A music video set to a certain Jefferson Starship song. Great editing, and bonus points for being all OOT footage.
Those abilities didn't help much when his apprentice turned and grabbed him from behind, and tossed him down an elevator shaft though. ;)
Has there ever been any onscreen evidence a Sith Lord could fend off more than one attacker at a time without a saber?
Give them some points for trying to fix things at least?
Palpy isn't Emperor yet...
The Mandalorians were introduced in the series quite some time ago.
Being the "Chosen One" means getting a lot of slack from your fellow Jedi sometimes. Making Anakin believe Obi Wan was dead, (as part of a covert op last season) certainly didn't help any in the anger management department.
Anakin has been on slippery slope throughout the course of the series. The moment he force choked a tight lipped prisoner to extract desperately needed information, was a more subtle and believable start of his descent for me.
Putting it on so early because the show is getting darker makes not a lick of sense. They were airing reruns on Adult Swim for a while a couple years back.

Having attended the last two Celebrations I can attest to the fact that the majority of people who attend don't care at all about the preservation of the OT. Questioning random people I encountered while there I found most were completely ignorant on the subject. While also running into a few "they're HIS movies!" types.
The most bizarre aspect about the whole thing to me was that when they'd screen the films at night almost no one would bother showing up. It would get at most a quarter full and then there'd just be a stream of random people entering and leaving throughout the presentation.
Are there other scheduled events that conflict with the screenings, or are people off partying somewhere?
Awesome use of the Jetsons car sound effect!
I am never going to see clone troopers again without hearing that voice.
Nute Gunray's departure might be a good spot to reuse the "white zone" parking gag from Airplane.
The Geonosian war room might benefit from some classic 80's video arcade sound effects in the background. It looks like the bugs in the background are playing arcade games anyway. ;)
Are you still going to use the giant falling Naboo cow gag shot?

I've always had a problem with Leia's line about getting that "walking carpet" out of her way.
This is a woman who is a/the leader of thousands of worlds and thousands of species fighting the Empire. She grew up in galactic politics and knows to have more tact than that even if she is as speciesist as the Emperor. Plus, she'd be fully aware of the Empire's enslavement and brutal treatment of the Wookiees and their role in the rebellion. PLUS Chewbacca was there to rescue her from the god damned DEATH STAR.
That line will be removed in my fan edit, when I get around to it...late planning stages right now.
She just watched her entire planet get blown up earlier in the day, and then almost got crushed to death in a garbage compactor filled with who knows what. Not to mention all the torture and mind control drugs. I'd be a little pissy too under those circumstances. ;)
She hugs Chewie right after the Tie Fighter battle.
I though Lucas avoids direct Q&A sessions at these things?
If questions have to be submitted and approved in advance, no way will a certain topic be addressed anyway.
Odd that Raiders was on SciFi today. You'd think there would not be any tv showings this close to the Blu Ray release.
The local revival house had it scheduled for early August, and bumped it back to late September. I'm amazed they can still get a print of it.
Maybe it's the way Vimeo always sounds on my laptop, but I think the "I regret nothing!" voice is a tad low in the mix.
The whole sequence is great from start to finish. Looking forward to the clone battle. :)
And be sure to give Douglas Adams some credit, since I got that line from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
