The fact it's hard to "spot the stiff" in some of those pictures is likely a testament to the skill of the photographer. There are plenty of vintage photos of live people in awkward poses.
I could see Stanley Kubrick making something chilling out of the subject matter. If only he was still around.
Who's dead in pics three and four?
I've seen the mini lightsaber ushers at some theaters for several years now. They're making sure nobody is recording the movie. I doubt they really need to do it three times or more. Who's going to whip out a camcorder ninety minutes in?
The theaters where I don't see those guys are presumably spying on the audience with infrared cameras, so better not scratch yourself, or pick your nose in the dark anymore.
In bygone days, I used to see ushers with flashlights helping people, (usually old folks) find their seats once the lights went down and the trailers started.
How they're going to spot those tiny spy cameras built into hats, buttons, and eyeglasses remains to be seen...
It's those pesky subliminal messages making people hungry to drive up snack bar sales. ;)
I had the inexplicable urge to eat at KFC, drink some Cutty Sark, and smoke some Malboros after seeing Superman 2...
Rewrite Jabba's subtitles, and it could be gold. Not to mention it ends with Boba looking right into the camera. "Oh Hai!"
I've been hearing most of the same complaints about Hollywood for decades now. (Ever since that shark movie came out in '75.) The major difference is the industry used to be accused of pandering to the youth market.
And yet, the mature themed, more serious Oscar contending films still seem to come out every fall.
If people didn't care about Superheroes, who are all those people dyeing their underwear and running around conventions? ;)

I thought it was interesting that The Matrix used sets left over from Dark City.
DC's big plot surprise blew my mind more than The Matrix did.

It's a unique interpretation, as are the other songs on The Transformed Man album. There are far worse Beatles cover songs out there though. ;)

Pinocchio got a Dolby Stereo mix for the 1992 theatrical reissue. None of the earlier reissue posters I've seen have a Dolby credit.
I have heard the 1985 Betamax video release, and that sounds like electronically re-channeled mono.

Want to know what's funny? The top source is a VHS recording from a old Disney Channel TV broadcast. Yup. Disney has gone weird.
There was one youtube video of the the uncut Fantasia Pastoral that was from a 90's Disney Channel airing of a Walt Disney Presents episode. They simply don't check these things as closely as we think they do.
I think that shot appears in one of the DTV music videos. Whether it's uncensored I have no idea...
They're control freaking over stuff using photos of characters they don't own. (Not to mention the actor's likenesses.) If it was original artwork, and the artist was upset, maybe I could comprehend the fuss, but there's probably a million funny altered Trek photos out there, not counting the pron.
