Any Battlestar Galactica fans here?
Time

Yes, now there are two of them! They did a little creative dubbing to explain why Cousin Oliver turned into a different super kid genius. Pity he didn't have any scenes with Mike Brady Dr. Mortenson.

Baltar is seen still pursuing the rag tag fleet (via footage from The Magnificent Warriors) with no explanation as to why he hasn't aged like Adama.

There is a tiny bit of footage not seen in the series with Adama making a log entry in his quarters. A photo of Apollo can be seen on his desk.

Episode V: The Ridiculousness Strikes Back

John Candy gave me a good laugh as well. :D I haven't seen Dumb and Dumber in ages (not really my thing) but this could work as well. Or we go good ol' Jack in Shining.

Lando really hitting Han could work as well. In combination with Chewie and Leia not really caring about it, this could be really funny. Han could feature a black eye after that. For the rest of this movie and R.O.T.R.-n.t.b.c.w.R.O.T.R. (Return of the Ridiculousness - not to be confused with Revenge of the Ridiculousness) since it wouldn't have time to heal.

Can you do that, Frink? :D

Good ol' Jack could also be sitting around on Hoth somewhere. ;)

Info: Re-mixed audio tracks on video releases
Time

The proper sepia tone was restored for the 50th anniversary in 1989. I still have my LD of that edition.

There has been a small omission in the mono soundtrack since 2000. From the IMDB...

"The 2000 Warner Brothers DVD edition suffers from print defects due to shrinkage of the materials used in the restoration, and cuts out one line of Dorothy's which occurs during a reel change when Toto is being taken from Dorothy. As she whimpers Toto's name, there's a stutter edit where an off camera Garland repeats the first few words of a line, "Oh, To, oh Toto." The audio production team (who were doing the restoration) went back to the script and found no correspondence. So, the apparent mistake was excised."

Hopefully, this will be fixed for the 75th anniversary video release this fall.

SDCC news - OUT "quite likely" on Blu-ray
Time

It would be nice to see Lucasfilm not treat OOT fans like unwanted relatives at Thanksgiving dinner in the future. For the amount of money it costs to attend one of these cons, I don't think an simple honest answer to a question is too much to ask.

We know there are people on the inside who feel about the movies the way we do. The GOUT, half assed as it was, (thanks to George's unwillingness to get new transfers done) did mean somebody heard us asking.

For Disney, it would only make them more money.

Ok, I might need to start watching this show.

Yes, you need to start watching immediately...

If only BSG and Buck Rogers had aired on the same network, there would have been the inevitable crossover episode. Then, we could have had Sheba and Col. Deering team up and kick Cylon butt. And I could have died with a smile on my face.

And how the hell did I not see this thread before now?

Could be... What was the running time of the original? This one was only about 20 minutes...

As it was originally a Walt Disney Presents episode, I presume 50 minutes?

Here's an old press photo with caption...
