You'd think they'd learn from all the times the suit was screwed with in the comics. Don't mess with a classic. ;)
Another domestic LD copy.

Just joined today to show us this, so are you sharing or what is your plans? as you have read we are working on this to share to everyone, well if you can help out with a better source this could be useful, so what are your plans?
I am putting this out there to advertise the best of the best. This is a direct source release, the same type of a release you would expect to see on the shelves at a store, albeit a promotional not an "official" one.
OK where are you sharing this at? and best of the best? well ok then I surely would love to see it, are you going to include any extras? and what is the audio? the video is 1080i so I assume the audio is just Dolby Digital? please share how\when you are going to share and what are the specs for your release?
Please look at my first post, which includes all the video and audio details of this release. There will be no extras. A soundtrack does not count as an extra in my books. This release is available for purchase. If you would like more information on how to purchase this item, inbox me.
Please read the rules.
Repeat infractions will result in being banned from this forum. Have a nice day.
This has been a bit of a trend with music for a while. I was pretty annoyed when some tracks from the Tron Legacy soundtrack were not on the CD. They were only on Itunes, or a limited edition 2 disc set overseas that became Ebay fodder. I want the whole damn score, dammit!
Clearly, someone at Paramount have been hitting the Romulan ale to come up with a greedy, asinine idea like this, and piss off the fans.
Are we going to need a kindle, or some other pricey device I don't currently own just to read these things?
You know, that Nute Gunray quote...
How did you resist making the obvious joke there?
Sockpuppet banned. Any further shenanigans will be not looked upon kindly.
Have a nice day.
Link isn't working for me.
I presume it's about the Itunes version of STID coming out ahead of the DVD and Blu Ray?
If you guys have proof of something, kindly share it with your friendly neighborhood moderators. We're not omniscient.
IIRC, the Landspeeder was optically added to the other shot in post. You can see what appears to be the sloping edge of the building showing faintly through it. The speeder is either a painting, or the miniature one used for other shots.
One wonders why they went to all that trouble with a better shot lying around.
Or take it elsewhere.
And yet, the shots done in Death Valley back in the states are easy to spot.
I think it's from the Star Tours ride film?

Yikes ,TFN has gotten scary.
When was it not scary?
Wasn't there some legal wrangling over the movie rights that would have prevented any further Reeve films until it was too late? I recall the Salkinds had some sort of hissy fit over Cannon films releasing Quest for Peace. Their Superboy series premiered on tv a year later.
SR's only crime was not making Dark Knight level box office, therefore it's been branded a failure.
The studios seem to hold international figures in higher regard now than they used to. Mediocre box office here doesn't matter as much if a movie does boffo overseas now.

Random thought. Maybe that chair Palpatine is locked into is actually a Vogon poetry appreciation chair?
Not sure if that would work but I like the idea.
If you could delay Anakin and Obi Wan's entrance, we hear just a verse or two (and some cries of agony) as Palpatine's chair is still facing away from the camera?

*sigh* I try to watch The Haunting around Halloween every year. She was great in it. Been eagerly awaiting the Blu Ray.
You might find something here as well...
I wish you had posted this in the general discussion board while that huge lot of slides was on Ebay. I posted it to the random thoughts thread last week.
Check the seller's other completed items.
Those images might also be in the original storybook.
I think there were some individual VHS releases in the late 80's. The Sonny and Cher episode did make it to Laserdisc.

Are these the episodes that aren't likely to be released on video, due to monetary issues with the celebrities involved?
