Dr. Lecter was imprisoned a long time before being moved to the glass cell. Wouldn't he take advantage of any slip up by the guards that presented itself at any time? His exploited his new jailers' inexperience, but I don't think he had a plan before he actually saw his new prison.
I'd like to know the first time somebody started singing that damn "mama's going to buy you a mockingbird" song right before something awful happens. It's been done to death in a lot of horror flicks.

I'm in and out of hospital again, so I won't be doing any more on this project, apart from perhaps supplying some 35mm scans graded to the 35mm print to use for colour reference.
AnctuFaalb will be taking it from here.
Hope you're feeling better soon!

And whose got a $1000 just sitting around doing nothing except say "spend me, spend me".
LOL
Fortunately, some people on this site had that kind of cash handy when other prints came along. I think the print Puggo's been slaving on is as good as this one.
Blue Snaggletooth for the win! And I spy the McQuarrie Portfolio, probably the very first SW item I ever owned.
Very nice display. The Kenner mailers and the Newspaper comic promos are very cool to see.
The last movie seen thread is that a way. Jeez!
It was down last night from around midnight to four a.m. PST, when I finally gave up checking and went to bed.
Vector Prime got a lot of publicity when it was published in 1999. IIRC, it was the only EU novel to have a tv spot.

I know Chewie's death in the book got some media attention. Not to mention the author reportedly got threatening letters from fans.
Whether casual fans and moviegoers even remember this 15 years later is unclear.

Chewie died in a book? So what? Should not matter one bit.
I've never liked the furry rebel scum anyway.
Now you're getting nasty...
These are the errors I get...

Big shock. Tough day to be an SCTV or Ghostbusters fan. :(
Ramis was also the voice of one of the stoned out aliens in a segment of the Heavy Metal movie, who snorted a floor covered in "Plutonium Nyborg".

That said, I think it would be a bit hypocritical of Abrams to ignore Chewie's death after chaining himself to the death of Kirk in Generations as the reason for not including Shatner in the new Trek movies. It would also be kind of a dick move on the part of LFL and Disney to just go "Hey, remember how we killed off Chewie and it was a really big deal? Well, we need to maximize our profits on these new movies, so, guess what? It never happened! Sorry!"
To me, whether or not Chewie is in the movie has absolutely zero bearing on how good the movie will actually be.
As has been stated in this thread by myself and others, hopefully we'll find out soon.
Kirk dying onscreen, and Chewie dying in a novel are two entirely different things.
And Abrams did have a scene at one point, where Shatner would have had a cameo in Trek '09. For various reasons, it was never filmed.
Kirk was revived by the Borg in the novels anyway. :P
So, is it over? Did Putin ride bare chested on a giant horse through the closing ceremonies or anything?
It sounds like you have a vintage Don Post helmet.

A forum like the RPF might be able to give you some information on how to restore it.
Interesting timing as there was an auction for a 35mm Star Wars print (1981 vintage) that ended a few days ago. Was pretty reddish though.
I would expect the displays on the Mon Calamari ships to look different. They could even be latecomers to openly joining the Rebellion, (we didn't see any of their ships at the end of ESB) and haven't had to scrounge to keep their ships going.
The Clone Wars series at least attempted to rectify the lack of familiar ships in the PT by showing "factory fresh" Y-Wings.
Another outage tonight.
Gungan skulls don't appear to be significantly smaller than humans. And Jar Jar has a bigger head than Yoda.
There are aliens in SF literature where the brain isn't in the usual place though.
I could have sworn somebody around here used that for an icon several years ago.
Jar Jar is kind of cute when he's not talking, or bumping into things, or helping Palpatine get emergency powers.
Well, that ought to put a different spin on Anakin's final turn! Mace has it coming now...
You could randomly put Creepy Puppet Yoda in there, as it's the last time you'll have the opportunity. ;)
Can you make use of this?

This fellow has a bunch of these from different SW environments.
Can those google glasses record video yet? ;)
Surely, it must exist.
I used to find a lot of them in thrift stores in the 80's. There were a couple unique interpretations of John Williams' score, but not much that holds a candle to MECO. Wish I had held onto a few of them.
