The costume for the new Episode 7 villain needs a lot of work.

If anybody here actually is a paid shill for the Mouse, how much does it pay? ;)
Stop spoiling Frink's surprise ending for ROTR! And don't feed the troll. ;)
Those poses crack me up. Not sure why George is sitting in Morpheus' chair though.
Wookiees! Perhaps we will see a familiar looking young Imperial officer get stuck with a life debt, and the best pal a smuggler could have? ;)

And yet, it was a scathing expose of the music industry, only without groupie orgies or drug overdoses. ;)
Only a handful of 80's syndicated cartoon shows aspired to be more than glorified toy commercials.
Well, like I said, I only saw one episode.
I'm kidding all the way. I couldn't watch more than one episode. GI Joe or Transformers it was not. ;)
Ebay is probably your best bet. It all boils down to what someone is willing to pay these days, not what any price guide says.

The most recent news on Lawson was that he wanted more than just a cameo. It's too early to rule him out.
And who knows, JJ's plan might be to mystery box Billy Dee. Nimoy flat out lied about not coming back for Into Darkness. Maybe they're saving Lando for a surprise cameo.
Nice that he wants to come back. It's not Star Wars without Wedge.
I seriously doubt they're going to put all the cards on the table right away with this. And I'm sure J.J. recalls the kerfuffle over Shatner not having a cameo in Trek '09. A scene for him was scripted at one point.
Jaitea, that photo made my day. :)
My paperback copy of Once Upon A Galaxy says they shot the double from the rear and in long shots because of that. And like I said, you have a bunch of guys who are well versed in how to act like a Wookiee from ROTS. They studied footage from the OT. :)

Wow Max Von in a Star Wars movie.
I'm pleased.
Yay Max! But will he sanction the use of bore worms? ;)

No Billy Dee Williams??
And yet Mayhew's in, despite being in a wheelchair. I don't understand how that will work. Did he get those knee replacements? Can he still play Chewie?
I guess they'll have Baker show up for a day or two, squeeze into the can, rotate the lid, shake a little bit, and then remote-control the rest, like the prequels. Please let me know if that's an inaccurate description of his involvement with the prequels.
Of the new folk, the only name I know is Serkis. Guess I need to read about these people.
Yes, he had the surgery, and has undergone painful physical therapy to get walking again.
Chewie had a stand in on ESB, no reason someone can't double Peter for anything involving running down a corridor. Get one of the Episode III Wookiee performers for the heavy lifting. Movie magic. :)
BDW might still be in negotiations?
For all it's faults, it did show us how the rebellion operates on a local level. It isn't all commando raids and stealing battle station plans. It can also be acting helpful and friendly to your local Imperials while gathering intel, and covering up suspicious stormtrooper deaths.

How long before it's screened at the Ranch? ;)
I hope there will be more chances in the future to see it with a large group that I have a fair chance of attending.
The fact George hates it, and it's continued existence annoys him, makes me happy.
I still cling to the hope Disney releases the sucker, and gets the cast to do a group commentary. :)
Chewie has always been hard to translate into prose. (Even Artoo presents the same problem.) I suspect that's one reason Heir To The Empire had a Wookiee liaison on Kashyyk with a speech impediment that allowed him to speak basic.
Killing Lando likely would have caused a bigger uproar than Chewie.
It must be set in the 80's, or no sale. Hollywood already screwed up Josie and The Pussycats.

^I bet we'll see some cool* disembowelment-by-lightsaber action, too.
*And when I say "cool", I really mean "bullshit".
I think it all depends on whether the Disney name actually appears anywhere. Disney owns Marvel, but the company logo has yet to appear on a superhero comic or film?

I'm not intending to turn the thread into a gif thread. I just thought it'd make a fun post...Vozlov said:

His projects make money, which is the bottom line in Hollywood. And I'd rather have him direct an SW film than say, Michael Bay? ;)Or at least a director that didn't initially turn the project down because he had another large franchise to take care of. Someone that didn't need some hour or more meeting to get them to take the job. Someone with genuine desire to make the film.
Don't take it personally, but six animated gifs all at once is a little much. One of those is over two megs in size. That's a lot of stuff that can slow down the pages on our little website.
Play nice, kids! Mods are watching. ;)

Actors gain and lose weight for roles all the time. Mark is supposed to have been getting into shape for the movie for a while. (Probably working on his sword fighting too?) Can't wait to see him in character again!
Aside from Chewie's family appearing elsewhere, and a Boba Fett action figure painted in HS cartoon colors, I never saw any sign the events of the HS were actually canon?
