One of the hallmarks of a great movie is you're left wanting some more. I'm sure someone around here will reinstate the cut scenes if the forthcoming Blu Ray has them as extras.

I hope we get something to tide us over until 2017 as well. (Three years? Come on! We're getting a new SW movie every two!) Maybe a Rocket Raccoon short film attached to one of the other Marvel flicks? I'd like to see how he met up with Groot.

Yes, we have a chance to get the stuff that dreams are made of. An opportunity that may never come our way again. Your help is needed, true believers of OMM. We need to keep things hush hush for now though.

If you haven't been contacted by AntcuFaalb yet, send him a PM.

Do it, for THX!

Do it, for the stinky shell dwellers.

Do it, for the albino lizard that lives in the wires.

Do it, for OMM!

Glad I didn't see that other trailer before, as it spoils the reveal of Knowhere and some of Groot's abilities. The first teaser with all the prison introductions to our heroes works much better without giving away too much.

I suspect there were supposed to be more songs on the actual mixtape than we would have heard in the movie.

That is a pretty interesting theory, doubleofive. Maybe you can ask Gunn on his Twitter?

Disney/Marvel knows what the people want.

I might have to buy that if it's not too expensive. If it's a limited thing, it will become ebay fodder faster than the vintage Walkmans.

I'm surprised nobody has ever made a cassette shaped gizmo you could stick a USB stick or memory card inside and play in your old car stereo.

I would have less of a problem with them CGing Alec and using Ewan's voice than using Ewan entirely.

I don't think he would agree on doing that. First it is kinda humiliating for him as an actor. And more importantly it would be kinda stupid to just use a dead actor's appearance (without his consent, which cannot be obtained anyway of course).

If that was the case, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, and a boat load of other dead actors wouldn't be earning their families/estates money today.

Why would voicing Obi Wan be humiliating for Ewan? He's played the character three times basing his performance on Alec Guinness. Much like James Earl Jones, he'd be in and out of the recording studio in a day or two, and be well paid for it.

And after working for Michael Bay, there's no place to go but up. ;)

Thirty years on, Obi Wan's ghost may be little more than a faint shadow now. I don't think he's going to be walking around and sitting on a log like in ROTJ.
