Possessed, I recommend you put HotRod on ignore.
HotRod, when you get a negative reaction, it might be a good idea to lay off.

I don't see cats or dogs getting gray as they age.
Off topic, but dogs absolutely do go grey/white with age.
....carry on.
Yes, but not as much as people do. ;)
Well, without those serials, we wouldn't have Star Wars or Indy at all.

And now we have The Ridiculousness Awakens to look forward to, sometime before 2020. ;)
Chewie is supposed to be around 200 years old in the OT. 30 years since Jedi isn't going to mean a heck of lot with that kind of lifespan. I don't see cats or dogs getting gray as they age.
And didn't we have this same discussion about his appearance in ROTS? ;)

I can only imagine how confused moviegoers were when they first saw Episode V in the crawl! Or maybe they didn't even really notice...?
They noticed. Lots of murmuring in the audience, IIRC. At least when I went opening weekend.
Lucas got his "middle trilogy" explanation out to the media around the same time though, and it was less of a confusing surprise by the end of the summer.
Not sure this ought to be it's own thread.
It's still a nice tip of the hat to the early Marvel era. Maybe Han will reunite with what's left of the Star Hoppers down the line.
Now, if they could only do Jaxxon/Rocket Raccoon team up. ;)
Another thing on my to do list was try to visit some of the locations, if possible. I live pretty close to where the final scene was shot, but finding the exact spot THX climbs up into the sunset 44 years later, is anyone's guess.
Just like putting new parts in your beloved old car. And I haven't seen anyone pulling their hair out over the Falcon's new dish yet. ;)
msycamore has a great scan of the Italian poster he sent me once.
I was planning on taking pictures of all the Laserdisc editions and the Betamax tape from hell, now that I have a better camera.
I was just going to post that. My close personal friend is pretty happy about this. ;)
And hating on Jaxxon is so last century. How can anybody not like a giant green rabbit who's good with a blaster?
My mistake. And yes, they should make that info easier to find. I don't think too many costumers are going to want to walk three blocks to the convention center.

That's awesome.
Still gutted that Star Wars never got a Vectrex release.
Looks like someone actually did a homebrew version after all! Cleverly disguised as a home version of Star Fire for legal reasons. ;)
Have any of you been to this the last time it was in Anaheim, and know the layout, so to speak?
Is any one hotel preferable over the others?
You might as well wait and see if there is a new release next year.

Empty words, but it's nice to see his enthusiasm. :-)
He's also probably really happy with the new Threepio suit, since he's not locked inside it all day. ;)
They should just loop it for 90 minutes and charge admission. ;)
unamochilla is faster than me! ;)

We've already seen a pic of Chewie
?
Did I miss this?
It was back in May. Here you go!

A fan droid builder group that didn't get it right would never live down the shame of screwing it up.
Anthony Daniels has said he asked for, and got a Threepio suit that's easier for him to wear, and outwardly is identical to the original costumes. We've already seen a pic of Chewie that avoided the mistakes made with the Episode III suit, so why worry? :)
He's looked worse you know. ;)

Okay, so who's actually going to this little shindig? Only five months to go! I'd have more incentive to attend if some people I actually know will be there.
