What is an x9?
The Rolls Royce of Laserdisc players.

It took a while to realize I was seeing double today! Threads merged for your convenience.
When CNN teleprompter jockeys refer to film footage of Amelia Earhart shot in 1937 as video, I just want to scream and pull my fur out.
Both Raiders docs made it to Laserdisc in the U.S., so there are no subtitles to contend with. Can't recall if anyone ever undertook a preservation of them.
The Making of Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom never had a video release at all, AFAIK.
I think so. :)
I think he's going to be waiting a long time to find a local buyer for such a rare beast.
He might be better off selling the regular LD's separately in smaller batches. I barely have room for the 200 or so LD's I still have.
I'm amazed any public libraries still have film collections these days.
Hardware Wars on Blu Ray might look too good. ;)
Hope they include Ernie Fosselius' other projects, especially Porklips Now. You can probably guess what that is a spoof of...
Interesting, but can you actually check the print out and take it home? Scanning a print is something that shouldn't be rushed.
I had a lead on a SWTJ print at an Ohio university, but the link doesn't work anymore.

The documentary prints Puggo scanned were library discards that turned up on Ebay.

I also find it especially funny now when a lot of people are now criticizing Disney's decision to make several Anthology films. Someone should remind them that they made Ewok films back in the 80's and that no-one have really given a damn about it in the past 30 years.Hmm ... This makes me wonder if the Ewok films'll be rebranded Anthology films in future releases.
I want them to make a third one where Mace, (the other one) is actually still alive, and had gone all Col. Kurtz with the Duloks.
Could be a temporary arm, or it's like when you can't get the right parts for your older model. Reminds me of AOTC more than it should...

Wicket could be the senator from Endor or something. Maybe he reunited with Cindel, and they're happily married now? ;)
What we really need to find is Classic Creatures, and especially Star Wars To Jedi:The Making of a Saga.
Is this the first SW film to have it's own alcoholic beverage? ;)

Is there anybody who lives near Elstree, who has a shovel?
Read the last sentence. ;)
The financial picture will be a lot clearer by this evening. Stay frosty...

Maybe that was a poor choice of words...
Working on selling some stuff so I can put up the majority of the cash on this.
Maybe it's a DNS issue?
And Paypal moves ever closer to being totally evil...

Coily will always live on in our hearts. Twisted little bastard!

That's like saying guns made boxing obsolete though. ;)
um...no. Not even close. Both Horses and Cars have to go through a circuit for a few laps, each horse/car trying to get in front of the other. If horse racing was an apple, than car racing is a higher quality apple of a different variety. Guns and boxing are like an apple and a cucumber. A Sea Cucumber to be exact.
Mind you, sea cucumber bites can be pretty nasty...

There's a lot of money to be made from the sport, and the lucky horse gets to have daily snu snu for the rest of it's life. Everybody wins!
When did Ebay get so messed up with regards to international bidders? Two bidders in South America keep getting blocked from upping their bids even though I've added them to my exemption list.
