Something I’ve been wanting to do for a while is share all the stuff I used to snip out of the local papers, Tv Guide, or otherwise hoard over the years. My old ISP made uploading to imgur an exasperating experience, but now that’s no longer a problem, away we go! Going to try for a semi-chronological order with this, but there are a few things I’m unsure of the exact year now. Some of this stuff was way to big for a scanner and the rest might combust like a vampire on a sunny day if I tried!
And if you’re trying to view this thread on a cell phone, I don’t know what to tell you. 😉

I have the prequels in full screen and they did a decent pan and scan job, at least on AOTC and ROTS. Perhaps their digital nature makes it less obvious? And before anyone asks, no opened up mattes I’m aware of.
Thanks for digging it up. Weird that I have no memory of ever seeing it for sale. A full screen DVD of AOTC has been languishing at a local drug store for quite some time. I presume it was a warehouse find by a liquidator.
I recently bought a vhs copy of episode 2 at a goodwill here in the U.S. , it came out at the same time as the dvd and had this as a bonus feature that was exclusive to the vhs in order to entice fans to double dip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrPh8Tlbybc

Can merchandise over saturation also be a factor? You have at least three different scales of SW action figures competing with each other now.
AOTC and ROTS only came out on VHS in Europe concurrent with the DVD’s, so they would likely be the same as the DVD versions released there.

The Criterion DEVO LD I presume? I know there was a DVD release of that, but the R U Experienced video had to be cut because the Hendrix estate suddenly had a stick up their butt or something.
The Go Monkey Go video, (from the Powerpuff Girls movie soundtrack) came out on a Cartoon Network DVD that came in Kellogg’s cereal boxes!
