Okay, but can you extract detail from really murky negatives? IIRC, the flash cube on my camera actually misfired a lot. I would imagine digital scanning could pull stuff out of them the local Kmart photo dept. couldn’t in 1987.

Would they have really gone back and redone the 2011 changes in 4K?

I was there, but only for a few hours sadly. (I did sign the card.) Was that hotel laid out like a labyrinth or what? 😉

Instead of one huge dealer’s room, it was a lot of small dealer’s rooms. I’m still not sure I found them all. One memory I have is examining a beautiful light saber replica as someone else was looking over my shoulder at it as well. (This dealer had some impressive Trek prop replicas too, back before Paramount got ugly about such things.) I pressed the power button on the saber, and they jumped out of the way. Silly guy thought it was going to work. 😛

Not sure where my photos are. They’re on the long dead Kodak 126 film format, which might be problematic to get scanned today. I mostly took pics of the prop room display. There were Raiders props on display too. It’s amazing to me you could just walk up and touch the Ark of The Covenant. (And an Artoo Detoo.) And of course, every wise guy was opening the lid. AFAIK, nobody had their face melted off.

The only items I still have for sure are the 10th anniversary poster, and the official T-shirt, which amazingly still fits this old Wookiee. I mostly kept that shirt stashed away. I’ve worn it to my first screening of TFA and again when I saw the 70mm IMAX version.

Sounds like what you need is a “clean” 5.1 audio track minus the voices in the center channel.

Some elements are in the video and others generated by the game itself. I only ever played it in Las Vegas back in the 80’s. I could have sworn the one I played had Clint’s actual voice throughout.

I feel like watching that too long could give me a seizure! I guess the way the disc is formatted helped avoid the blank screen issue other LD games had sometimes when accessing the next required video sequence.

Too bad the Battlestar Galactica LD game they were working on never made it past a prototype.

There’s been an announcement paging a Egroeg Sacul at Star Tours since the ride opened in the 80’s.

Some of the shots of troopers and Tie Pilots in the corridors of the second Death Star in ROTJ may also be unused Star Wars footage.

Speaking of Firefox, the Atari Laserdisc arcade game based on the movie might have extended/unused aerial footage in it.

If they can blow off George’s sequel ideas, and bury the release of his last project, it doesn’t seem that the mouse is under any obligations to him at all.

Except maybe skipping the lines at Disneyland. 😉

One title I am highly suspicious of is Death Race and it’s sequel Death Race 2. I am almost certain the sequel uses loads of unused footage from the original films car chases and the splicing is so quick in the sequel it feels strung together with a bunch of deleted material somewhat.
