It was an attempt to cover all bases. Not everyone might click on the link, and the graphic version was intended to catch the eye as people scroll by.

I was also having problems somewhere in the pipeline last night. The entire staff shares the twitter account via tweetdeck, and the damn thing kept counting hashtags toward the word count. Never had that problem before.

On behalf of the forum, I would like thank oojason for contributing the original Kenner graphics, and SwissArmtyTin for refining them into their final form.
I would also like to thank everyone who contributed ideas and revisions to the text in the 4K thread. This was an intimidating beast to hammer out at times, and the “committee” helped a lot. As the deadline loomed, I just had to turn off my targeting computer and let go.
And last but not least, thanks to our Emperor, Jay, for giving us this forum. Whatever happens with the powers that be, as long at OT.com stands, we won’t let the original films ever be forgotten!

Never mind Kenner successfully brought the action figure line back two years prior, and the OOT was still selling in it’s umpteenth home video incarnation. I don’t think the films were ever truly out of print on home video.
