Info: Deleted Scenes from Films that ended up in Other Films or TV shows Archive List

I think Pearl did indeed use stock footage from TTT. IIRC, They took advantage of the fact Richard Anderson had also appeared in the feature film. Whether it was unused footage I have no idea.

This might be getting a bit obscure, but FX footage from Space: 1999 was sold by a company specializing in library/stock footage, and the occasional shot not used in any episode was offered. These ended up in other tv shows, films, and even music videos.

Universal infamously pimped out Battlestar Galactica FX footage. The low budget film Space Mutiny as seen on MST3K is a good example, but I’m not sure if any unused footage actually appears.

Trail of The Pink Panther (1982) Made well after Peter Sellers death, there’s a bunch of unused footage of him from the previous PP films.

Ewoks:The Battle For Endor (1985) Unused footage from ROTJ appears in the final battle scenes.

Revenge Of The Sith Teaser -Alternate take/angle of Alec Guinness talking about Vader from the original Star Wars is used.

Magical Mystery Tour (1967 The Beatles) It’s alleged unused aerial footage from Dr. Strangelove was used in the Flying sequence. (Much to the ire of Stanley Kubrick.) The black and white footage was colored, (not to be confused with colorization) making it resemble part of the stargate sequence in 2001 A Space Odyssey, which came out the very next year.

I do enjoy watching actors have fun with evil versions of their characters, but they went to that well a few too many times.

Yep. DS9’s first Mirror Universe episode should’ve been its only one.

An occasional one off like Enterprise did would have been fun, but yeah, when even the Ferengi can go there, they need to put a padlock on that thing, or have Q show up and say Enough already! 😉

Words fail me…

Upon reflection it seems this person lives in Asia, but I have a hard time believing Scooby Doo cartoons haven’t been shown all over the planet. I watched Scooby dubbed into Portuguese when I was in Brazil back in the early 80’s. Unfortunately, it was the Scrappy Doo season where they ditched Fred, Daphne, and Velma.
