Info: Star Trek movies - alternate versions...
Time

I’ve seen some TMP Super 8 reels on Ebay, but can’t recall their length. Collectors often spliced shorter cut downs together though.

JEDIT:Found three reels in Spanish

Although the whills theory aspect should be a little fixed (maybe snoke was cast out and killed his buddies during the events of the Phantom menace…maybe he never created the sith but merely fed off their power to become better than the other Whills to kill them)

Either way force ghost not being real provides strong context for several loose ends of TFA

Why isn’t anakin doing anything to stop kylo

Because he is in the netherworld stuck watching if not in complete oblivion(unlikely)

If luke was powerful…why was he a coward?

Because he realized that his faith was a lie…and that he was simply a pawn. He has no one to confide in now in these dark times.

Why did kylo join the dark side

Because of 2 reasons…either he wanted immortality(or wants snoke to bring back someone he loved), or snoke used his fake force ghost powers on him. Maybe kylo ren sees a vision of paradise in the galaxy and wants snoke to bring it. Maybe snoke isn’t a true bad guy. Maybe he truly believes that with enough power he can bring a golden age. He can heal wounds, it is just a matter of using the force to manipulate cells. He can extend the life of life forms indefinitely as well as bring them to life if their body is in good enough condition.

Not my strongest plot…but certainly one with potential

End-of-paragraph punctuation percentage = 33%

How about you fuck off. How is that for a reply asshole?

How about you review the rules around here?

One of the things I have found most disturbing, is comments left by Trump supporters regarding his ability to pardon. For example, at the end of one article, several commenters boasted gleefully that he will still “win” simply by pardoning his family members and others around him. Is it not a terrible state of affairs when so many allegedly law-and-order folks would revel in pardoning people for federal crimes? Can they not see the irony? Only 7 months in office and already talk of pardoning people.

The whole Trump win and presidency has made me rethink whether our “system” is really as great as I thought it was. Maybe it took a couple hundred years, but I fear its fundamental flaws are finally being realized.

Comment sections attract a lot of trolls. I only recently became aware some pro Trump twitter accounts are totally bogus, (not the obvious parody ones) intended to make fools of the real ones that comment or follow them back.

fuck the parole board.

I was having early 90’s flashbacks watching the coverage on CNN today. I’m no legal expert, but they probably can’t consider his murder trial in their decision process, especially as he was acquitted.

They definitely can’t. He’s in prison now for armed robbery in which no one was injured, which is all they can consider.

I know technically they can’t consider it, but the law allowed them to keep him behind bars on the armed robbery charge much longer than they did. Under the law, they could have kept him in prison from a maximum of 30 years. Instead, they give him the minimum, 9 years. They could have given him more time.

I know, but I doubt that’s too uncommon in these cases. Keep in mind, I’m not happy about OJ being out of prison.

His cushy celebrity life is pretty much over. I imagine his legal fees have piled up the past decade. No sports memorabilia shows will touch him with a ten foot pole for all the bad press they’d get.

As an aside, I was in downtown L.A. once for the day while the murder trial was going on. When they moved O.J. from the jail to the courthouse it was like Apocalypse Now in the sky. Never saw that many helicopters in the air before or since. It sounded like an invasion.

I’ve probably seen the full original movie but I’m not 100% I’ve seen it in one sitting. Never seen any of the sequels though.

Apes aren’t really my thing.

Considering the cash cow POTA merchandising turned out to be, I’m amazed Fox let Lucas walk away with the Star Wars merchandising rights.
Still the only action figure line that encourages kids to do horrific experiments on captured humans. Good times! 😃

I seem to recall someone here once saying The Hill leans left, and maybe that’s true, but they just gave space to SEBASTIAN FUCKING GORKA.

http://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/the-administration/342864-opinion-america-is-back-the-first-6-months

Here’s just two fun stories on Gorka.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/fbi-fired-sebastian-gorka-for-anti-muslim-diatribes

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/sebastian-gorka-made-nazi-linked-vitezi-rend-proud-wearing-its-n742851

I was ruminating recently on how I never saw this Gorka guy on tv before the election. Like he popped up out of nowhere. Can’t decide if he’s like a character in a Bond film, or someone who would have been Damien Thorn’s mysterious close presidential adviser. 😉

JEDIT:I figured it out. He looks like Mr. French…uh…Satan, from that Twilight Zone episode where a recently deceased petty criminal thinks he’s in heaven, but is so very wrong.
