I think its the carbon chamber scene when Luke jumps down and then you can see his head bob back up.

Indeed. Thanks for the clarification, Ady.

When I was a kid, I had the Special Edition Trilogy VHS box set, with the little commentary thing at the beginning of each movie, and as such, the biggest error I remember about Empire was the transparant Snowspeeder cockpits, because they showed a bunch of comparison shots of that gaffe during the commentary.

Oh man- I totally forgot about that- we had the same box set. I remember that segment- they made a big deal about how they fixed all that- did they just do a half-complete job?

Haha. I consider myself well-versed in all aspects (except comics and smaller novels) of the EU and core canon. 75+ Star Wars books. W00t. And no real trouble keeping all the info straight. :D

I just hosted a Star Wars marathon, and when we watched episode V I kept in mind a lot of the changes discussed here. It was incredibly amusing to see glitches and bloopers that I had never noticed before: Luke's bobbing head, the AT-AT issues, etc. And of course the coloring. Makes me all the more eager for V Revisited. : )

I can confirm that the CGI yoda was made to have the ear wobble. I remember watching the same documentary, and they said that the artists originally made the CGI character perfect, the wobble fixed, expressions, etc. However, when they watched the scenes, it just didn't look like Yoda. They had the artists go back and add in the wobble so it looked more like the Yoda everyone knows. I say keep it in the movie. :D

At first I wasn't sure about the Yoda changes, based on a quick glance at the youtube version. Then I downloaded the avi file and watched it a few times. In the end I agree with the others that it is a very nice idea, and it's almost there. There are just a few spots that look more photoshopped than natural. Fix those and I think it will work fine.

I hope not. I cringe every time I hear that stupid thing. :p

Haha. It amuses me more than anything else. As a movie maker myself, I can see the appeal for sound directors to add a tradition into every movie.

And wow @ the new clips. I love the additional AT-ATs. Makes it looks so much more ominous. Interesting use of the atmosphere as well, as Luke is flying down toward Dagobah. Looks awesome overall. :D

Since the prequel trilogy came out, I've found the reveals in the OT to be no less interesting. I mean, sure the audience knows them already, but it's still interesting to see how the characters will react to such news.

It's the horror movie scenario- we know someone is dead, and get to watch the group react when they find out. Movies like these aren't always good, but it's a similar concept.

Ok, probably not the best wording. :P I meant those who are very serious about doing the OT justice. *blinks* Yeah, my reasoning isn't doing so well today. I hate finals. They destroy my brain.

Ontopic: Model making would certainly help improve the quality of the edits, Ady. I hope you can maintain the resources to support such an operation. I have no doubt you have the dedication, as we've seen.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time

Well, the audio is in 5.1 dolby. If one is using a stereo setup, it's conceivable that it might sound different than on a full system. For instance, no center speaker might mean quieter dialogue, which sounded like the problem one or two people were having. I was under the impression that a 5.1 signal would compress correctly into a stereo one if played as such. :/

I believe the only Adywan Revisited threads are this, the IV thread, and the suggestion thread for V and VI. It might be a good idea to have a floating thread for those, but it seems like it's a bit early. I mean, based upon the estimates so far, it'll be at least 3 or 4 years before Adywan gets to the prequels.

As usual, I've been keeping track of the topic via email updates. It's fascinating to watch the debates over things both large and small. Thanks doubleofive for the representational pic. I think the grey ties will look fine. Also, welcome thunderclap, to the largest and most entertaining detail discussion in the history of fan edits. As far as I know, at least. :D
