Help: looking for... The Missing 'Raiders of The Lost Ark' Scene...
Time
The fact that only Lucas has so far saved the world from Indiana Jones IV is another reason why he should be praised. There is nothing worse in the film world than remakes, but the second place in the hierarchy of idiocy is occupied by belated, unwanted sequels that no logic accepts (especially when you have a self-standing trilogy that opens and closes itself perfectly), that only a couple of "fans" actually demand, and that only gets considered because it's easy money. There are about four exceptions where a sequel was actually good enough to be comparable to the original,
there are exactly three cases where the sequel was better (Godfather II, Bride of Frankenstein, Star Trek II), and there are a few cases where a sequel is so different that it makes an excellent film on its own (Return to Oz), but 99,99% of the cases are cash-in trash. The Indy IV crowd probably consists of the same ones that are now wondering "duh, me want know when Peter Jackson shoot Lord of the Rings IV, duuh". (Of course, half of Hollywood executives ejaculate over that very same idea, too)

BANNED BOND: The Criterion Collection on DVD (Released)
Time
Speaking of Bond, if you go on the Atlantis DC hubs, you can find some users with the first adaptation of Casino Royale, the black and white TV transmission from the 50s - which, I believe, is still officially unreleased. The quality is terrible, the protagonist is "CIA agent Jimmy Bond" and the guy who plays him is almost as bad as this Craig character will be , but it's a funny curiosity.

Info: Anyone Have The Fight Club Workprint? Or any workprints for that matter?
Time
I never made any list of my discs. I have a bunch of workprints, all on DVD-R transferred from VHS (not by me). The Fight Club workprint is a very easy one to find - it's not that elusive Boogie Nights or Darkman the Series workprint. I saw it in practically every pirate store that deals in workprints. It can be downloaded from at least two DC hubs, too. I definitely saw it on Batmax on two regular users' lists.

The Warriors - fan edit... (Released)
Time

It’s not really on topic, but since this film was originally intended to take place “some time in the future”, you could say that it’s SF…

Someone is making an extended fan edition of “The Warriors”

http://warriorsmovie.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1821

I don’t know if anyone else here is interested in this, but I feel that could be worth seeing, especially since I’ve read news and reviews about the “ultimate director’s cut” of Warriors, released this week in USA (and in two weeks elsewhere ), and everyone who saw it agrees that the “director’s cut” it’s a horrible bastardization of a beloved film, a nasty, moronic, unwatchable reedition that makes Greedo shooting first and “Return of the Jedi” with Hayden Christensen look like improvements.
