This set is out there, and I’ve heard that it has a few more minutes than the “normal” 270-min. workprint that was easy to obtain a few years ago. But is it worth looking for, considering the lousy quality of VCD (even if it is a boot tape transfer) and the fact that it’s cut into a couple of discs?
I’m absolutely certain it was never leaked anywhere outside the test cinemas… or was it?
there are exactly three cases where the sequel was better (Godfather II, Bride of Frankenstein, Star Trek II), and there are a few cases where a sequel is so different that it makes an excellent film on its own (Return to Oz), but 99,99% of the cases are cash-in trash. The Indy IV crowd probably consists of the same ones that are now wondering "duh, me want know when Peter Jackson shoot Lord of the Rings IV, duuh". (Of course, half of Hollywood executives ejaculate over that very same idea, too)
I downloaded it a while ago after the 2DVD SE of "Apocalypse Now Redux" had been released, and I slipped it in the digipack as a third "bonus disc".
I don't talk to bots that serve films on IRC, either...
...for a second I thought this would go to "It is a joining of all the footage from all the Star Trek films and their deleted scenes into a single film"...
I know there’s a guy who did one, including the two alternate endings, a documentary, interviews and more on the disc…
…and I was wondering if anyone else was fiddling with this film?
Using yousendit for files bigger than 1 MB - or, for that matter using it for anything at all - is illogical.
That Supe II cover is sick, man.
What??? It's elegant and well designed.
It’s not really on topic, but since this film was originally intended to take place “some time in the future”, you could say that it’s SF…
Someone is making an extended fan edition of “The Warriors”
I don’t know if anyone else here is interested in this, but I feel that could be worth seeing, especially since I’ve read news and reviews about the “ultimate director’s cut” of Warriors, released this week in USA (and in two weeks elsewhere ), and everyone who saw it agrees that the “director’s cut” it’s a horrible bastardization of a beloved film, a nasty, moronic, unwatchable reedition that makes Greedo shooting first and “Return of the Jedi” with Hayden Christensen look like improvements.
