Oh yeah that's in Arial Bold and I'm keeping that. I want that to be bland because that's not the highlight of the Logo. Thanks for your edit of the credits. There's also another one that opens to "Present" scenes (ANH) also in the first post in Italic.

I'm not objecting to bland. Arial is not merely bland, it is ugly. I beg you, use Helvetica. It's just as plain, but it's not ugly. As you can see, Arial did call my attention to itself. You might not be able to see much difference, but to someone who knows a lot about design and especially typography, it is all the difference in the world.

Okay, the second crawl needs a bit of work. The way I see it, what's wrong with using the original (or most of it) word for word? At a minimum, there are two typos that need seeing to: its, not it's; and ensure, not unsure.

Two major comments. I like the style you're going for, but there are two things I have to say.

1. The font you use in your logo. Arial? Kill it. Anywhere you can use Arial, Helvetica does a better job. If you don't have it, I do.

2. The wording of the opening slides needs work; it reads quite clumsily. If you like, I can give them a slight rewrite to show you what I mean.

The font is not Arial. It's Star Jedi. Unless you mean for "A-Man Productions". That's Zekton. I'm keeping those fonts, I like them and think they fit the new tone I'm aiming for.

The word "PRODUCTIONS" is in Arial, or something that resembles it and is equally ugly. The other fonts are fine.

My take on the opening crawl:

Turmoil had engulfed the Galactic Senate. Several thousand solar systems, led by the mysterious Count Dooku, had declared their intentions to leave the Old Republic.

The Jedi Knights, guardians of peace and justice in the Galaxy, were becoming overwhelmed. The Senate proposed creating a Grand Army of the Republic to assist them. Senator Amidala was returning to the Senate to vote on this critical issue....

The most important changes are the spelling "led", not "lead", and the "who were meant to", which doesn't fit the epic feel of the piece. The rest is more my own personal take, but I hope it's useful.

Adywan hates EU and has stated that it does not exist for him. He'll accept the prequels any day over any EU material no matter how good they might be.

Adywan doesn't hate the EU, he just isn't letting it constrain these edits. As well he shouldn't. In fact, GL didn't feel constrained by the EU when he wrote the prequels, leading to several cases of retcon.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Was watching ESB:GOUT tonight and made a new observation.

If you look outside the base doors as they’re being closed, it’s very dark outside (you can see twilight on the horizon), but in the next scene (Luke’s vision and Han finding him) it’s still daylight. The distance between the two locations would not be sufficient to explain the difference in light levels; it’d have to be at least a few hundred miles on an Earth-sized planet. If we take the idea that only equatorial Hoth is habitable (borne out in the EU but also by a simple consideration of the basic physics involved), that minimum stretches to 1000 miles. Darkening the second scene would help continuity and also (in my opinion) add tension. Should be quite simple to achieve compared to the rest of what Adywan’s doing for this film. Your thoughts, Ady?

Interesting. I particularly thought the second part worthy of inclusion.

Ady, how certain are you that you don't want this music in the movie? :p Would it be a waste of time drumming up support? There's many more minor things that have had 20-page debates, so I hardly feel guilty...

GEP, I believe Ady has decided not to use that score, but for what it's worth I second your request. I think the music fits there very well. There was some talk of including an alternative audio track for the DVD with all the several deleted audio cues reinstated, in addition to the isolated score track we were treated to on ANH:R, and I hope this does eventuate.

Yeah, I've an amateur interest in graphic design and typography. Just like it's obvious that someone used Powerpoint to make his presentation slides, if someone uses a Pages template for a poster it distracts me. If I recognise a typeface I know that instantly colours my opinion of a work — Arial = lazy and uneducated, Trajan = fashionable/cliché, Gill Sans = British (don't ask me to explain that one), Optima = subtly stylish, Gotham = trendy, etc.
