I think jDownloader is awesome and incredibly easy to use once the first hurdles are cleared. I would re-write the FAQ as a step by step guide to show how easy it really is.

Yeah, he said I could do it a while back and I just forgot. I almost feel as if it was written for an older version of the program, because some of the instructions make no sense. (mostly GUI related, which doesn't help for an absolute newbie trying it)

I keep meaning to submit a clearer version of the JDownloader FAQ dealy to boon, cuz I find it's a bit needlessly complicated as it is.

I think it would be possible to pull off for ANH - it would just require an Adywan-magnitude of perseverance to pull off. Start by using Adywan's AVCHD of  ANH-SE. Pop in a few scenes from ANH-R (like officer's getting blasted in the chest, the stormtrooper road-check in Mos Eisley, etc.). Then for the rest use a stabilized GOUT. I'm actually surprised it hasn't been tried yet.

I'm just surprised overall that there have been...what, zero? projects based on ANH:R. Some have used some of the footage, of course, but I mean a real new edit based almost entirely on "fixing" ANH:R or using it as the foundation for something like you just mentioned. I guess people are really satisfied with either the DVD-9 or the Purist version.

Neat-o. I could see AvP upping the "fixed" version later on. He has done similar things before so people don't have to also download the tools and instructions and such.

Still seems a shame to do it for a split second of audio. I wonder how many would've really noticed if you hadn't of mentioned it. ;)

It's from the end credits of "Strange Brew". :) You should see it sometime. It's ridiculous. I first saw it during English class in grade 10 because it's very loosely based on Hamlet, which we were studying at the time. Ha!
