Never heard of the guy. :p
Never heard of the guy. :p
I just checked Part 2 and it worked fine for me. Just keep trying. It will work soon.
The EU is so much revisionist history. "Oh, look, shell casings in the movie. Uh, uh...yeah, they were always in the Star Wars universe. Yeah." :p
Have a nice summer, Kurgan.

So you are not interested in hairy_hens new 70mm mix, or the 5.1 upmix of hairys new mix?
I am interested. Just forgot. :p
Would it be feasible to keep the ones that are already on them and add this one from the Pwnage: Audio 3: '77 Dolby Stereo mix DD 2.0s @ 192kbps (from LD analogue cap)? I don't really know how much room they take.
I didn't know what was going on and I had the benefit of the OT! Still don't! :p Stupid political nonsense...

WOW Nicholas those covers are beautiful - are they available for download yet please?
See post 291. ;)
Yeah, it's always a good idea to have a fresh set of eyes go over text like that. But anyway, they're all very nice. I think I'd like a mix of the first front cover and second back cover the best, though the colors go nicely together as is.

Sorry, having paying that much attention but could someone remind me what the LFL pwnage version is.
Peep this, homeskillet: http://originaltrilogy.com/fan-edits/fan-project-details.cfm/Custom-DVDs/title/Star-Wars-The-Lucasfilm-Pwnage-Edition/project/227/category/3/
^You guys must see the Atari cover!
LOVE the Atari one! :D I've hardly printed any covers for anything, but I'd certainly consider it for that one. Great stuff.
The first one is pretty classy.
This poster would be cool for the image on the back:
Not suggesting this Polish poster for a cover, but I love it too:
If there were toys. Heh.
Thank you, Sir AvP. :)
And don't forget this guy:
But anyway, um...The Empire Strikes Back, I've heard.
Joff! Where ya been?! I thought maybe your internet melted or something. Haha. I still haven't heard back from you regarding your disc offer back in February! :p I'll have to bump that e-mail.
Thought it might be fun to post some hypothetical stuff and see how people feel about it. Here's the first one:
What if...the original trilogy and all information about them had never existed, but the prequels had still been released on the same dates exactly as they are?
Do you think you'd like them? Would they seem like typical special effects-laden summer blockbuster-type movies without those ties to the past? Do you think you'd view them a little less critically, not having seen the superior movies that made them possible?
Impossible to say for sure, but I don't mind a bit of speculation now and then. I think I would've liked them about as much as I do now, perhaps a smidgen more, since the OT wasn't around to expose the nonsense in them so much. I'd still hate Jar Jar, of course, no matter what! And all the political mumbo-jumbo would still befuddle me because of my apathy for it.
I do shudder to think what episodes 4-6 would be like if they were to be made after the PT! :S
Ric "Ollie" Gelfand? Haha.

Say hi to Malfunctioning Eddie! Actually, better not.
Naughty (and possibly malfunctioning) Calculon... ;)

You seem upset...
Well, based on what people have said about the image quality so far, even on a 50" plasma, people are very, very happy with the DVD. 720p may have been icing, but this one seems to be very well received anyway.
I like blent better.

Another note: If the Empire destroys the power generator, shouldn't the lights in the base go out?
For a second before the back-up generators kicked in. ;)
