Hmm, I dunno about that... He seems like a clumsy moron, a loveable klutz, but not like GeneralGrin's videos of Captain Picard and his crew; the nonchalant, heartless killers. Having him approve of Qui-Gonn's death? Yikes.
Yes, that would be very ridiculous, but I don't think I'd like that instance.
^And then, of course, you need to have him NOT yell after Qui-Gonn dies, right? :p
Hey Fronk, that's cool that Bob is having a go at the overshoot. I also thought the idea of Obi-Wan talking as he's falling was good, too. :)
Oh, I should post this old favorite of mine here too, which would happen not long after the recent videos:
Just go to a store and see what they have, then check these guides to see if their players can be made region free or can play PAL:

You might be surprised at how many NTSC players will do both. Like I said before, they're just not allowed to advertise it... *tapping nose*
^Perhaps PM Moth3r or Jay about it?
"Beyond genre"? It's still anime. :p
^Yes, very much so.
I have this sinking feeling I'm gonna have to watch TPM and write some ideas down. :p I haven't watched Ady's versions yet, so maybe I'll start there.
What programs are you using for the editing, Frank?

I stopped watching anime after Voltron.
Not entirely, I hope! :p
THREE kicks now? :p This movie is gonna be 5 hours long, I can just see it now.
Great covers! I especially like the look of those Segaflip discs. Pretty unique. Congrats on being so close to done done. ;)
^See, Gaffer knew I was jokin' around! ;)
I remember the first time my computer fell apart. Not fun. Same thing happened with my first PS2. They both went downhill quickly.
I'm sorry to hear that.
And I'm sorry your computer is your life. :p ;)
^I'd love an Oppo, but the shipping would probably kill it.
I find that most cheap players nowadays will play PAL. They just don't advertise it, just as they won't say that their player is region free. If you see one somewhere and are not sure, there are some sites where you can look it up and even add a code to unlock it and such. That's what I did with mine.
I have the PAL version now. Only had a quick glance for now, but it works very well on my $14.44 DVD player. :)
I'll definitely be grabbing the [probably forthcoming someday] NTSC as well, as I can play it on any player here (no speedup either, obviously) and I like to have both versions of these in order to give people I want to share them with the option.
It's too bad there isn't a way to merge this thread with the one at FE.org, cuz people are probably missing some great suggestions and clips on both sides...
I love the idea of a Ronto blocking the desert fight. And I LOVE corellian77's idea up there. Worth learning how to do it, I'd say. :) Or maybe someone else could make it using the same video settings and whatnot and you could shoehorn it in?
*see my last post*
Nevermind. Situation normal.
Thanks for the demon uppance, schorman!
As the conversion, wouldn't the entire disc be PAL and therefore he'd just do one big blanket conversion to NTSC?

Is there anyone else with the tools to do the NTSC conversion or is zeppelinrox the only one who can do it?
Dunno, but I've PM'd him about it, by the way.
I never bothered past the first episode or two. Too meh for me.
Someone should make sure zeppelinrox gets it too, huh? ;)
^He would never leave in the pink sabers. ;) The messed up colors are one of the biggest reasons why people wanted to fix the DVDs in the first place.
Loved the last episode of The Office. (most of this season has been excellent, really) When are Erin and Andy gonna get back together?!
