Yep, that's pretty random!
Yep, that's pretty random!
You count as a guy that posted in this thread, so congrats. ;)
Hey, I know there are fellow deviantARTists around and I thought we could discuss it a bit. (I have my account linked in my signature) Let's see who is there and maybe we can "watch" each other. Haha. But first, some shilling.
I very recently made a King of the Hill group. Feel free to join in the fun!
We need Ady to come in again and mention something nigh insignificant so we can analyze it to death, as we are wont to do. Haha. ;)

The mouse droid is considerably bigger than an R2 foot, at least twice as big, if not more.
You're making me want to check out the scenes where they appear again, as I'm picturing them as lunchbox-sized. I can picture a mouse droid as being longer than R2's foot, though.
Again, the last couple of pages have been "interesting." It was cool seeing those old logos again, even if they're not going to be used in this project.
Apparently any animal that looks vicious is automatically rabid. :p

And I still don't like 3PO's recorded dialog about the power loss at one of the terminals blah blah. Still doesnt sound right mix-wise
I'm with ya on that one
I grew up hearing that line all the time, but I can't remember where. May have had to do with the version that the local TV stations played. I was more surprised the first time I didn't hear it.
I've wondered myself about the displays and consoles and such in Star Wars. Sure, something like the Falcon could look more like a conventional aircraft with swithes and knobs and such, but the DS instrumentation doesn't look much more advanced. Maybe they purposefully didn't go the slick, still-awesome-looking-today 2001 route.
^^Are you the same guy that got on Alanis Morissette's case about that? ;)
The ironing is delicious.
I knew I was thinking of the wrong thing! I need sleep. :p Thanks for jogging my memory.
Cool beans, AvP. Love the new avatar too! :D
I think the second clip depends on how much footage there is between the first and it. Hard to say.
Is that new escape pod clip from Revisited? Funny I can't remember that...

Thanks for the tip guys. I guess it's RapidShare I should be peeved at :P
Yeah, they angered a lot of people when they made radical changes to their service and lost a lot of long-time customers as a result. If you look at the edits at fanedit.info for the past...I dunno, half a year or so, you'll find very few Rapidshare uploads compared to in the not-so-distant past.
Excellent. Very smooth. :)
I guess I've been seeing too many non-standard ones lately. Haha.
^Plus, you lose however many hours when you're sleeping and all the time you don't happen to be sitting near the computer to start the next chunk. (I contemplated using the countdown timer on a watch at one point, but thought that was going a little too far) I love not having to babysit downloads.
As always, I recommend checking for updates with each use and installing any there are, as things change quickly in the digital storage business. The JD crew is usually very quick to deal with any new issues. (the Rapidshare fiasco comes to mind)

jdownloader is a GREAT program!!!!!!!111!!!1!1one!!!1!11!
I concur! ;)
What Plans?, you should try downloading something on Megaupload with jDownloader, even without a premium account. You'll plotz! I tend to get at least 1 MB/s speed with only 40 seconds or so between downloads. I can get in a few hours what used to take 1.5 days or something like that. It's a great 'set it and forget it' program that most people quickly wish had been around years ago.

^That's one of the things I decided not to say. :p
You should always bring something like that up, so it can be fixed. My two cents.
I typed it up more than once, then decided not to send, lest I sound like a nitpicker. (out of respect for the skillz involved, it won't go in my blog, if you smell my drift...)
I also wondered why the Ss (esses?) were so stretched away from the T and R. A strong stylistic choice. Heh heh.
^That's one of the things I decided not to say. :p

Shame to hear about Gary Moore, another tragic loss of a great talent.
Yes, I heard about this not too long ago. Bit of a shocker. :( One of my all-time favorite songs just happens to feature Gary; Colosseum II's "Dark Side of the Moog".

Brainkrieg would totally kill them at battle of the bands.
Dentist! (jugga jigga wugga) Deli-style! (jugga jigga wugga)
And then Taranchula would come in and destroy them both!

I woke up to 284 emails this morning. Another 150 arrived on the next few hours. How? WHY, has this struck such a cord with people?
I guess they pine for the days before history became tampered with and want to see things the way they used to be. ;)
Great cover, AvP. Classy! I was gonna send a note about it, but decided not to. :p
^Yes, totally agreed. No harm in hoping for something, though. ;)
