I usually skip that scene as I hate the messy sound effects so much, so I can't really say too much about it. The colors do seem to be toned down at the entrance to the bar...I think. If so, good.

Grocery bagging...now there's a lost art. (even though there was an episode of My Name is Earl dedicated to it) Around here, it's pretty rare to see anyone other than the customer bagging groceries. Cutbacks, I guess. Sometimes the cashier does it, which is annoying.
