I wish a channel up here was playing it. Fox played the xmas episode in December, then nothing else. Stupid teases...
Yeah, I just found this little summation of the controversies involving the names, which kinda reminds me of the old Nintendo PlayStation thing:
"The show is also known as The Original Ghost Busters because when Columbia Pictures released the film Ghostbusters in 1984 it neglected the fact that Filmation had already produced a live-action comedy series with that same name in 1975. Filmation sued Columbia in 1985, and as part of the out-of-court settlement the cartoon based on the Columbia Pictures property could not simply be called Ghostbusters. Columbia proceeded to name their cartoon show The Real Ghostbusters to directly distinguish it from the Filmation show.[7]
Filmation had even gone as far as to attempt to work with Columbia Pictures and had completed initial design work for a cartoon to be based on the movie. Columbia changed its mind, deciding not to work with Filmation, and the proposed deal fell through (Columbia worked with DiC instead). Filmation's Lou Scheimer later admitted "We should have asked for the animation rights for their (Columbia's) Ghostbusters as part of the settlement."[8] This prompted Filmation to create the cartoon based on its former live-action series."

Actually, there were video tapes of at least the Filmation cartoon series, because I remember renting it quite frequently when I was a kid.
I meant video tapes of the live-action series so the parents could prove the Filmation cartoon was based on an old show. ;)
Yeah, I only found out about it myself sometime last year. I didn't watch the cartoons, but I knew there was a fairly big difference in them for some reason.

Oops! Wrong thread. :p
Ha-ha, I was going to ask which animated Ghostbusters series you meant.
Well, there was also the live-action show that the Filmation cartoon series was based on.
This no doubt confused many kids, as the series was from 1975, which was well before the movie and cartoon series they knew. The parents probably didn't have any videos of it to show them, either.
Yeah, you kinda need to upload your stuff somewhere, because you can't do it here. (I mean, you can try, but...where?!) ;)
Upload them somewhere (imageshack, photobucket, whatever...), then add the links here.
Still watching American Chopper. I'm glad Vinnie and Nub are back, and it's great to see Junior designing choppers again. There are always aspects of current OCC bikes I like, but they definitely lack the extra uniqueness Junior brings to his projects.
Meh, we've all forgotten more important things.
*waits for Frink to say something like 'this IS the most important thing!'*

And Ripplin, shouldn't you be concentrating on the draft? ;-)
Says the guy who also posted at OT during the draft...
GAITH! Wow, first post........unless you've been an OT member previously, I suppose. (yes/no?)
So anyway, there you have it, all you Purist searchers; it's at tehparadox. I don't even remember where I got mine, so I can't help with any errors. Sorry.
Didn't he add the trooper walking by a long time ago? I guess some missed it the first time. Doesn't bother me.
That was funny, though the sabers were a bit much. :p
Yeah, that makes more sense, at least in the movie context.
I think it's safe to say we'd all like to see those two-tone tuxedo shoes! ;)
Most people (but not I) would consider no dancing at a reception a bummer. Haha.
I think the forum is still on the old DST.
^Ah, so it could be more about disorientation than pain. Thanks.
Nice screenshot up there and yes, it is very reminiscent of the McQuarrie painting. :) They even got Hamill to thrash around a bit, like in the painting. Anyone know why? Was it the sting of the bacta on his wounds or something like that?
Pat Metheny drags Kenny G. through the mud: http://www.jazzoasis.com/methenyonkennyg.htm
Didn't know he was building an AT-AT! Ooooooo!
This was a nice surprise. Thanks again, Ady!
Oh, maybe I'll ask here, too: are you back on the desktop now?
EDIT: May as well post Ady's answer to the same question I made at Facebook: "i'm in the process of reinstalling everything on my PC. Had to get a new motherboard so i went with a Asus sabretooth this time. I'll never buy gigabyte ever again"
Why or how would a player in our NL-only league even get traded to the AL? *scratching head* Will we have access to AL players anyway?
Now that would be a funny theme: can be anything, but must be wearing a KFC bucket! :p
^I would say it depends on certain criteria. I've been using a different avatar every month for over 4 years at buckethead.tk...but they've all been of Sid. A lot of people say he's like the unofficial symbol of the site. When I hit 10,000 posts, almost 40 people used Sid avatars for several weeks. :)
