Could you imagine or can you imagine?
Could you imagine or can you imagine?
Irregardless or regardless?
Man alive, when I was in sixth grade, a 386 was a luxury! None of this casting of pods, whatever that means. :(
You guys should watch Jorge's version of the 2003 "Hulk" if you ever get a hankerin'...which is likely to be never. :p
Hey, Ziggy! Have you seen Bowie on the series Extras?

Found an old podcast I did back in 6th grade.
Man, you must be really young! Do you even know who David Bowie is? :p
The white panels could darkened. That could make a big difference.
For me, it was always a 'huh, weird' moment. :p (though I can't remember if I saw Empire or Jedi first)
I've been using DVDFab for years, but only for copying. I'll have to look up its ripping capabilities.
I'm beginning to watch Fawlty Towers...finally. I've never properly watched it through before, but I have the DVD set and watched the first episode earlier. Good stuff! I loved the Airplane!-esque ending, too. (perhaps that's where the Airplane! team got it)

Watched some Alien Nation with my family.
Series or movie? The movie's ok, but the series is better. I really enjoyed it. Got the TV movie collection from Best Buy, too.

...even though the update specifically says he won't be considering them.
He said he was going to take a nice long break after ANH:R, too.
Thanks, Gaffer. I've actually had both of those programs on my computer at one time or other (might now, but haven't checked), but I dunno if I ever used them.
Once this dumb little thing I'm doing is finished, I'll be posting a link. Adywan especially will get a huge kick out of it.
Can someone recommend a good free little program I could use just to rip a small portion of a DVD to .avi or whatever?
It's April the NINTH, Bingo, not the first. Don't say such ridiculous things to try and trick us. ;)
P.S. Enterprise.

Currently watching ST: DS9 from the start.
Nice! :D
Chuck's not in it, you know. Just warning you. ;)

At the risk of boring absolutely everybody on this thread
Not possible, even just based on that awesome avatar of yours! I'm a big fan. :)
By what method are you watching 3rd Rock? I ask just because there are no networks I have that are airing it right now and I miss it. :p
Wow, so many differences! The "visor" is what I noticed first, but then the more you look, the more you see, kinda like your movie edits. :)

Basketball. Again.
If I had revived my Yahoo league from last year, would you have joined?
I have the one on the left, minus that blue space suit thing in the upper left corner.

I seem to remember CBS recently removed one of its own videos because it infringed its own copyright, or something ridiculous like that.
That reminds me of when John Fogerty was sued for plagiarising himself. :p I guess these networks are so up in arms over not making money on something, they remove first, then look into it afterwards.
I've started using proxies to view certain things. It so unfair that just because I don't happen to live in the U.S., I'm banned from watching some content from The Office on nbc.com, for example, especially as I have given NBC hundreds of dollars over the years buying their DVDs.
;)
Yes, but I did ask some real questions there that I'm hoping people will give some insight into.

Ok, I wouldn't pay $14.99 plus shipping for them, but I think the idea is pretty funny, in a DVD Rewinder sort of way. :)
I've only seen one 3D movie (TRON: Legacy) and it didn't make me feel nauseous or get a headache. I pretty much left the glasses on throughout, though I took them off for the Pirates trailer. That was a joke! It kinda disgusted me to think they're gonna charge double the admission price for glorified Viewmaster.
Have any of you felt nauseous or get a headache watching a 3D movie? Do you watch them without the glasses when there is no choice of 2D?

I am in AWE at how bad the writing on "Smallville" has gotten.
I still like the show, but yeah, it's not the same. I think the main issue for me is that so many characters talk like Chloe, with the constant catchphrases and pop culture references. It used to be just her, pretty much, but now everyone does it.
They did a similar thing with Scrubs in the last couple of seasons, where there were suddenly 3 or 4 of Dr. Cox and his attitude/way of speaking. :p
