I have a question about LD players with an auto-flip function: that means that the laser mechanism itself swings around from top to bottom when need be, right? Not two lasers - one on top, one on the bottom - in it, right? Were any made with two in it?

That was cool, teharri. Takes a while doing that many screengrabs, then uploading them, too. :p It's a good looking scene with a nice simple transition into that long shot of Cloud City. The Falcon's engine glow is just nutty!

Just watched the video, too. They did do some nice little things for the menus and such on the DVDs. A lot of effort that maybe should have gone into preserving the movie itself? Heh.

If you want to do it quickly just to show people what you're describing, maybe just record it with a digital camera or something? :p You're showing us the scene, not the quality, so it doesn't matter if it's just a camera video.

One word: very cool! Seriously, some of that is just stunning. It is what I thought years ago that computers would eventually be able to do. (though my idea is more automated than this) Spacetime fusion is neat-o!

Hey, did I tell you I watched your Temple of Doom edit now? Very nice! :) And once KotCS is released, it'll be interesting to see what deleted scenes are included. Might be able to do a lot with them.

Nice review, MTH. Makes me want to see it even more. I think I have to cool it with the downloading for a bit, though. I don't trust my ISP's internet usage tool, which says I'm already up to 75% of my monthly allowance. I'll probably get it near the end of the month, I guess. There's also that serial version of Raiders to get!

We already know he's obsessed. I would never take it out, but I think it's kinda neat without it. Kinda like he's staring at Ozzel, waiting for him to respond. Like, "well, what do you think of that?" It kinda messes up the rest, though.
