In fact, his "revisited" was the very first (and up until this point, ONLY) fan edit I've ever downloaded and watched.

"You've just taken your first step into a [MUCH] larger world." Hopefully you'll check out some of the other 'must haves,' like Deleted Magic, Building Empire and Returning to Jedi. All discs that every Star Wars fan should own. :)

Almost like how in ROTJ, certain shots look lamost like they were recorded on an old cam-corder, and not a camera...all grainy and out of focus.

I've always wondered about that. It's so strange and stands out like a sore thumb! But it was obviously a conscious decision, right? Right? :p

I always seem to come to these parties late... Anyway, I don't know if I have any interesting things to add other than some really old, funny ads from magazines for Super 8 reels and Beta tapes ($60 each for 20 minutes or so of footage, I believe?!) and such. Good for a chuckle. Or maybe the old "Star Jaws" comic book or old MAD and Cracked stuff. Haha.

I saw that you're looking for a copy of the DVD-9 of Star Wars Revisited, but I only have the NTSC. I figure you want PAL, right?

exciting times.....

Exciting, but annoying at times, huh? I too have felt the irritating feeling of 'I could probably buy something with twice the power as this computer I'm buying right now in a few months...but I'm getting it anyway.' :p Fortunately, I'm not a gamer or movie editor, so it's not a big deal if I have a monster, at least. Haha.

With Adywan, we've learned to expect the unexpected. Whatever he does will be a major addition to the site and our collections, whatever resolution it is. :) It would be kinda neat to know how much faster something like a color correction pass can be done with quad core versus dual core.

i've never seen 95% of the trailers

Wow, that's hard to believe considering the massive amount of discs people here have made that contain a ton of the trailers on them. Do you not have many fan discs or something? I'm not trying to be funny, I'm just surprised. And I think the "Revenge" trailer is on the 2004 'Bonus Material' disc, innit?
