Pretty interesting results. I wish I hadn't missed participating.

The one thing I wish Jay would fix about this site is the irritating double spacing! I write out my address for someone and it takes the equivalent of nine lines! :p I don't understand why it's set up this way. Just a small thing, but pretty weird.

I still don't have a widescreen TV, so a 4:3 version would look excellent on my old CRT. :) I hope this new format change goes smoothly for you. It's looking very promising!

When he said "I think it could work in 4:3, cause I find the way to choose what I want to show on screen," I take that to mean that he will crop it the way he wants. if he got a pre-existing 4:3, he couldn't really do anything with it if he plans to show different portions of the picture.

That looks really good! I think that could work well.

Had nothing to do with Adywan. It started out with them complaining about the contents of a couple of rapidshare links from different users. To be safe, the site has gone into a sort of hibernation, but progress to get it going again in some way is happening quickly!

I just hope that if someone does use Adywan's edit as a starting point that they use it more for its color-correctedness (Darth Editous did a great job with that, too!) and do something really original with it rather than just fixing tiny things that bug them. The possibilities are endless, really, it just takes another fresh, original take on the whole thing.

Sorry to hear it. :( Must be hard to trust programs entirely when they look fine in one program, then show problems in another. It's too bad there isn't more consistency for such things.

I didn't know about FE.org until I read your last post. Very sad! At least the community is still alive and well. All work on edits will continue and people will still be able to get them; it will just be different. ;)
