Anyway, the topic of the electified needle on the torture droid in ANH:R came up again in the ESB:R thread, and I was wondering if you might shed some light on the rationale for that, Adywan. I know I've given it some thought myself, but that doesn't count. if you've explained it before, sorry to bring it up again.

I think it must be a glitch with this type of forum or something, as I see this a LOT, whereas I almost never see it anywhere else. Would be great if we could delete our own posts, too, but I guess that's not going to be an option anytime soon if it hasn't been implemented by now. ;)

Anyway, great job on the Falcon mock-up, Davnes. Very neat. Like others have said, even if Ady doesn't want something like that in there (and I agree with his reasoning), someone might at some point.

Well, a lot of us have that in DVD form, transferred from the VHS. Maybe it could be taken from there and cleaned up a bit?

I'm hoping one word to describe it will be 'radical.' Or even 'slightly radical.' Haha. When Adywan said he plans to 'tear apart' the PT, I smiled. I have the official discs and ADM's extended versions if I want to see them as-is, but there's always room for other visions, especially one that does far more than just re-order the sequences and such.

If anyone ever finds a good shot of the Falcon's dash, perhaps they have this picture taped to it?

I had always wondered what people meant by the "slugs," but never looked it up. I just cranked up the brightness on my monitor (from 40 to 100) and there it is! Pretty weird! Have they always been there in every version released? And are they just in ROTJ?

I'd still like to hear opinions on my idea of R2 falling straight down the hole after he activates the hyperdrive rather than that hesitation there is now. No biggie, but I think it would be funny.

I'm hoping the PS3 or my other DVD player will play it, cuz I generally don't watch movies on my computer. I'd use VLC if I had to play it on the compy. I haven't used WMP in years! (I have used the far superior Media Player Classic, however) I have nothing against it, but it's useless to me. We'll see. :p

So, the test version will not be a DVD, then?

^Meh, it's not that hard, really. I pretty much learned most of it by heart in a day or two. Some of the characters kinda sorta look like the ones we use in English, so those are easy to remember. The trickier ones are the ones with more than one character.

I always remembered it being called Aurabesh, so I looked it up and found Aurabesh, Aurebesh and the Aurekbesh/Aurek Besh/Aurek-Besh that everyone here is saying. Ha! :p
