And ahh!  The new avatar threw me off - now how will I quickly scan through the thread for your posts?  :-P  I do like it, though.

Ah yes. Why do I always have to clear my cache to see any changes? :p (and if no one says anything, it seems like I'm blissfully unaware!)

Sevb, maybe you could stop using Ady's logo on your own mock-ups.

yeh i would be grateful if anyone that uses my screengrabs for mockups can please remove the logo first

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw Sev's. Don't want to create more continuity problems. Hehe. ;)

Nice to hear about the progress on the Wampa cave scene. Were those errors hard to fix? I know you've done leg position fixes before, but I imagine some are much trickier than others.

Oh and Ripplin, if it's not too much trouble sending me that EditDroid Bonus CD that would be very helpful!

It's not a CD, it's a DVD. :) (it's a laserdisc rip of "Return of the Jedi", with the isolated score as a bonus feature) So you'll need to know how to rip audio from it. Is that ok? You might wanna PM me your address if you'd like to go ahead with this. ;)

^Who said it was hated? Lots here like it. I seem to remember Ady saying he liked it, too. Or at least sort of liked it.

In Post 8642 Ady says he's always hated it. Why? I don't know.

My mistake. Maybe I was thinking of someone else. :p Thanks for clarifying. (Edit: I see Adywan has replied now, too.)

Well, I kinda like the design of it, but I don't like the way that it pulls the eye away from Cloud City, which is where the focus should be. That was one SE element that I thought was kinda neat, but not so much the way it was implemented.

The whole design element in the PT is very forgettable

Quite. I do really like some of the ships (those Jedi Starfighters are neat-o!) and a few of the character designs, but on a whole, it's a bit over the top. :p

Good point about having to learn how to fly the ships, too. Reminds me of how guys like Jeremy Clarkson don't like some of the over-electronified cars nowadays because they do so much of the work for you.

Oh, sorry. They're not new discs by any means, so maybe you hadn't heard of them before. Those are the usernames of the guys that made the discs (they're supplements to laserdisc rips). Both are/were OT.com members.

The source is the official VHS tape "From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga." I actually have two copies of it; one from 1989 (got it for $2 at Value Village a few weeks ago) and one from 1992 (Corn Pops mail-in offer coinciding with the Timothy Zahn trilogy hype, I believe it was).
