Thanks for the info, and sorry to hear about the tinnitus. I have a problem with my left ear, but it's not that, thankfully. :p Mine does a sort of rapid popping thing in certain conditions. One notable one was the second time I saw the Special Edition of Star Wars; R2's beeps went right through my head. They had the sound way too loud! But then again, it can happen with random songs played at a reasonable, or even fairly low, volume sometimes.

Your dedication knows no limits Adywan!  This looks incredible.

Agreed. :) The funny thing is, this came out of nowhere! Even if we'd've known he was doing something with the 1080p versions again, I'm pretty sure most of us would've figured ROTJ. To that end, has it been an easier job to color correct TPM than it will be to do ROTJ, Adywan? It may not be as bad as ESB, but as vaderios' mock-ups have shown, there are lots of odd tints in it, sometimes more than one in a scene.

Thanks to all those who have commented on and/or reviewed the disc. I've been on the fence about it (I didn't know about this thread at first, either, which didn't help), but I think now I will get it, maybe at the start of July when my bandwidth resets. Haha.

none, I see that you have mentioned changing the audio levels a few times now. Are you planning to release an updated version of "Thee Back..." with the audio leveled out, or is this something you're just keeping in mind for future projects? If you do plan to do an audio fix and make a Thee Back 2.0, I would wait to download that instead of getting the current one. Thanks.

Another celebrity (not at their level, but still), pitchman extraordinaire Billy Mays died Sunday morning. I planned to do a Billy Mays Lego man after seeing him on The Tonight Show earlier this week, but finally decided to make it this afternoon. Now it feels like a tribute more than just a new random Lego man:

Couldn't decide whether to have him with the thumbs up or not, so I made a couple of variations.

Star Wars: The Trilogy **PROJECT STALLED DUE TO HARD DRIVE FAILURE**
Time

Hey, nice news! Hope it goes well for you.

I don't mind the dewbacks too much (it makes the scene seem a bit too long to me more than anything), but I've never liked/understood the electric needle (I have my own theories), so I don't mind that one going. Sorry, Ady. ;) Will the Purist Edition come in to play for anything? And I'm glad to hear you'll be using mono mix elements.

Once you get to ESB, will you use Adywan's AVCHD so you can put Clive Revill in?

Also, I didn't realize Dark_Jedi had done a cleaned-up GOUT! How does it differ from the Pwnage Edition?

and ady, no offense to u, but u can't take everyline in a movie, in this case ESB, seriously.

I don't think it's so much taking it seriously, but rather, being annoyed at a lack of continuity sometimes. They try to change things (or make things up) after the fact and it messes up what has already been established.

Just please don't think it was ME saying they should fly above the trees. Even as a little kid, I never thought that. It's usually non-sci-fi fans that bring up issues like that, not thinking about how it's a movie, and how boring it would be if they weren't among the trees. ;) Just using it as a fantasy vs. reality example. (as "real" as repulsorlift technology can be, anyway)

would they have things with legs walking around a dense forest of trees?  Really?

It's like people say 'why don't they just fly above the trees?' in the speeder bike scene. Doesn't always make sense. Wouldn't be nearly exciting otherwise. In the case of the walkers, I would think the AT-AT would do better than the AT-ST, but still a tad cramped in the middle of a forest. :p

Um, shouldn't that AT-AT head be pointing AWAY from us, being that Luke is coming out of the AT-AT's body?

Were they coming straight out of the walker and into that corridor where Vader is, or did they have to turn into it? If they had to walk out of the walker and turn right into that corridor, then the position is correct. I can't remember, though.

^That's pretty funny! I bet he hated having to go rescue Leia, huh? 'A woman in trouble. Typical.' ;)

And Davnes, this is the CD from Shadows of the Empire:

Possibly the first, and last, time a soundtrack CD was made for a book. An hour to listen to, a week to read? Better loop it. Haha.

Seriously, had anything like that been done before? It's still kinda weird.
