Very nice! I especially like that those HORRIBLE sounds the creatures make, especially that green one with the long legs, are gone! I'm sure Mr. Burtt would hate it, but I don't care even slightly. ;) So many of his prequel sound effects (and also in the new Star Trek movie) make me want to slap him upside the head...

I know I sound like a broken record, but for me, the sound effects, especially the warble effects, bug me more than anything else in the PT, even Jar Jar. >:-(

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Well, now that we've seen a bit of the approach shot in the trailer, I can see how the focus is meant to be entirely on Cloud City, and not some lumpy brown thing off to the side. However, I still wouldn't mind seeing the refinery later on in the movie when Luke comes in or something, because I like it too. Heh.

THE OT SOUNDTRACKS SALVAGE - SWESBROTJ -"remastered"(so far)+ LP's (Released)

^True enough! ;)

It is definitely an odd choice. If they only wanted to go with one picture, why that one? And why such a tight shot that barely shows any of R2? They could've used a nice wide horizontal shot of...anything, really. I think I would've used the last shot of the movie, in the throne room. It shows almost all of the main hero characters together.

No, Ralph McQuarrie painted them 30 years ago, they just weren't used in the original movie, I don't think. The red tibana collector added was also from McQuarrie's original design, and I would keep it in.

Where is this from, then?

THE STAR WARS SAGA - 1080P AVCHD DVD-9 for PS3 & Blu-Ray players - Episodes 1, 4 & 5 available now

Yes, nice job! It's still amazing how weird the DVD version looks.

And this is one of those instances (for the sake of ROTJ:R, not this release) where some interactive lighting might be good. I agree that it's not necessary all the time, but if any scene could look good with it, this is the one.

Star Wars: Renascent *** NOW AVAILABLE!!! ***

Well, after having a lot of trouble finding something to play the .wmv file properly, the newer version of Media Player Classic will. I only have 2.1 audio on my computer, so it still won't be the full experience. :p Anyway, I'll start watching and taking notes soon. I dunno if I'll wait until I'm done the whole thing to put notes up or if I'll put a few notes up at a time. (I know I'll be watching it a bit at a time, at least)

He releases these official dvds and all they look like to me is progress work prints.

It feels to me like a lack of patience to get to the cash grab. I can see him walking around, fretting, 'oh dear, hurry up, guys! Only three months 'til Christmas! It would take you how long to rotoscope the sabers and lasers? Oh... Well, nevermind that, then. But it's still only going to take you until lunch to add the blue tint, right? Phew!'

"This party's over." Pretty much always got on my nerves...I can see how some might feel that it's kind of OT sounding...but I just don't like Sam's delivery.

To me, it's nothing more than a tired action movie cliché, so I was glad to see it go. Forced-feeling catchphrases are a big reason why I won't/haven't watched a movie like "Independance Day."

When burning any DL media make sure you burn on the lowest possible speed.

Unless, like me, you're forced to burn at a higher speed because you keep getting a stupid 'power calibration error.' Even a restart didn't help last time. I burned at 8x and the disc turned out just fine, but I don't want to have to do that all the time. I usually burn DLs at either 2.4x or 4x. Stupid computer...

What, no "this is such a drag?" What a shame... ;)

I liked this edit. It did feel a bit odd with no dialogue for so long somehow. I do like, as I mentioned at YT, that Padme doesn't just jump from 20+ feet. Heh.

I also mentioned the following: "I'm hoping someone ... can do something about the HORRIBLE warbling monster effects. Makes me want to punch my monitor. Even just stretch out the first sound and maybe raise and lower the pitch ever so slightly for natural intonation? I don't know how that would sound."

I know, the same old complaint... :p Maybe I'm just trying to find someone who agrees with me.
