My Brute: fun, free internet fighting game!
Time

I recently started a fun little internet fighting game where you can make these little guys who fight each other (for no apparent reason) and gain powerups and such. It's automated, so there's no learning curve to speak of. Just watch them get stronger and more impressive.

Just go here: http://mumblin.mybrute.com/

...then you can create your own fighter and watch them go! :) You don't even have to login or anything. Just save your address and go back whenever you want. You can enter them in tournaments as well.

That sandwich thing reminds me of a skit Tom Green did where he says people tell him he should do more observational humor, so he goes out on the street with a bullhorn and starts saying things like 'you're wearing a green shirt', 'you're enjoying a soda', 'you're driving a blue car', etc...

Perhaps there was a Tom Green fan at LFL around the time the made TPM? Haha.

I notice that the second pic there, Luke vs. Vader in the cave, still features the crooked saber (in relation to the hilt). Is it possible to fix that, or is it staying as is?

YouTube revenue sharing?!
Time

Hey, have any of youse been offered MONEY from YouTube yet? :o

Peep this [legit] e-mail I got today:

"Dear Ripplin,

Your video Building a Ducati 999 has become popular on YouTube, and you're eligible to apply for the YouTube Partnership Program, which allows you to make money from playbacks of your video.

Once you're approved, making money from your video is easy. Here's how it works: First sign into your YouTube account. Then, complete the steps outlined here: [link] Once you're finished, we'll start placing ads next to your video and pay you a share of the revenue as long as you meet the program requirements.

We look forward to adding your video to the YouTube Partnership Program. Thanks and good luck!

"

The weird thing is, this is not my most popular video. My rally video has over twice as many views. Whatevas. Oh, and the Ducati video I posted is still there because of, um...Discovery Channel not seeing it? Heh. I just found it on eMule and posted it on YouTube cuz no one else had. I say where it's from in the description.

I might check it out. I wish they'd offer this for the rally video, though. It has already been approved by the company that owns the copyright to it and is visited and commented on far more often.

I like it! Definitely an improvement. No offense to Angel, but everything seemed too crisp in his version.

I like it, too. Angel had a great idea, but it was just...too bright or something. Looked like the actors and transports weren't really there to me, whereas they did in the original. Bingo's version gets it closer to looking "real."

As for Vader's "skirt", it's always there (like a robe, with his belt and such over it), just tucked back so it's tight against his legs and can't really be seen. Maybe it came loose during filming, or they somehow thought they should let it down so he'd be warmer on Hoth base? :p

I'm going to try adding a 3D effect to one particular shot, as I did for the shot of the "vane" inside the Cloud City shaft.

I think a lot of us missed that one before you went on shore leave, so is there any way it could be posted again? (or was it posted in the first place? I've heard of it before, anyway)

I like Bingo's idea about repainting the reds to grey. As I've said before, Rimmer would approve.
