No, no, "The Compleat Al" was just the title of a special put out on VHS, Beta and laserdisc. It's around an hour long. It's a mockumentary about Al's career up to 1985 or so.
I wuld agree about the Sony d-pad. My left thumb was killing me until I got used to those gaps. Nowadays, it doesn't bother me, but still, it was as odd a choice as the triangle, square, etc...buttons.

I personally find that the PlayStation controller is the smartest one yet. Maybe a tad small, but then, I have fairly big hands. I do totally agree that the L2 and R2 shoulder buttons on the PS3 controller are bad, though. They should have left them alone! :(
I also found the ol' N64 controller surprisingly intuitive! When I first saw it, I thought 'what is that thing?', but I got used to it very quickly.

There's actually no need for a "project" anymore, cuz this has been available as a laserdisc-to-DVD transfer for a while. I have it and am willing to upload it...but where? Seems like we're running out of options every week.
I'm thinking MySpleen is the best place, since I already told them I have it anyway.
Got a note today that they're back in stock...not that any of us can afford them.
If anyone here actually gets one, be sure and give us a report on it! :)

There are TONS of edits out there, too. You have many to choose from. ANH:R is great but not the end all, be all of SW edits.
I 101% agree with the issue of people quoting pictures to say something inane like "that's cool" or whatever. If there is something constructive behind it, fine, but how often does that happen?

I just think he needs to lay off the Sharpening filter in Photoshop a bit. ;) Sometimes it looks great, sometimes I find it's a bit much. But overall, very cool pic. I like the red lights very much!

Oh, and Sev's idea is interesting, but I just have this feeling that Ady's not wanting to release multiple versions like there were with ANH:R. He can confirm or deny this feeling of mine at his leisure, of course.
The biggest things I'd like to see are a proper member search/list, and the ability to PM them from their profile page.
