Got something you want to say, but don’t feel it warrants its own thread? Say it here! 😃
I’ll start…
The pilot light went out on my furnace two days in a row. Everything checked out fine, so I guess it was a fluke. I had to re-light the water heater too cuz my dad turned off the gas going to it. Yay.

My brute with the bear has been a little up and down lately. The higher the level of opponents I face, the more of them have nets. But overall, it's awesome to have. Bears have 110 hit points, so it's great if they get hit a lot. :)

Most of the people on here will agree that ROTJ is the weakest film of the trilogy.
Now, yes, but I have to wonder how many would've said that when they were little. ROTJ was never my favorite (Empire was always it for me), but there were parts in it I thought were awesome as a youngster. I still love the general feel of the Deah Star interior scenes. Anyway, I do know some people who always liked ROTJ best growing up, but as their tastes matured, found that either ESB or ANH were best.
I was under the impression Ady always has at least two monitors running side by side. Is that right?
Nice comparison shots up there, DE. That makes a huge difference!

You might end up with a much better monitor.
That might just further annoy Jacen's wife, though!
Hey, Mr. Jacen! I'm using a 10-year-old $6 monitor with slight discolored spots on the right side of the screen and a broken microphone, so keep me in mind if Adywan doesn't want it. Haha. ;)

Awesome first post Jacen.
Maybe Adywan can look on it as a present from Santa... :)
Wait...are you calling Jacen fat? :p
As for power issues, there are convertors that allow people to use appliances from different areas in different areas. Heh.
^Hopefully there are plenty here who, like me, don't believe in jinxes, cuz that's a mighty jinx! ;)
"In my experience, there's no such thing as [jinxes]."
I still remember when I was new here and used the same avatar as someone else, since we didn't have the ability to upload our own at the time. It caused a slight confusion, but when I told him it was my favorite of all the ones available, he seemed pleased. Heh. I wish I could remember who it was! It was a Bossk avatar, anyway.
Does anyone ever fill out and send in those guarantee cards? :p (ok, yes, I...don't)

I've got a good mate who's a decent salesperson for our local 'Currys', and I'll check out what he reckons about this shop and 'Gateways' claims about all this.
That sounds good, I.F. :) Let us all know how that turns out. Could be interesting!
Has anyone dealt with salesmen who are a little too chummy/buddy-buddy? I bought a center speaker at Best Buy several years ago and anyway, the guy recommended that when the company releases a new version of the speaker, I should blow out mine on purpose and tell them to give me a new one. (which they might, but I'm not going to take that chance) Yeah...

Don't buy anything made by gateway as they will just rip you off if anything goes wrong. Their attitude is just "computer says NO" (little Britain fans will get that one. lol)
You should ring them up, cough into the receiver, then hang up.
Sorry to hear about this setback. Is your monitor on 24/7 as well, or do you turn it off when you sleep? (wait, you don't seem to sleep...) The monitor I'm on right now is around 10 years old and cost me a whopping $6.
I've used Firefox exclusively for years now. :) I see the updated avatars now, but once upon a time, I had the same problem as ESF. People would talk about 'Adywan's new avatar' and I'd think 'what new avatar? It's the same old one.' Then someone suggested I clear my cache. I did, then I saw the new one. Refresh did nothing.
Aaaaaanyway, enough of that jazz. Back on topic, which was...AT-STs? Cloud city? Heh.
Yeah, it funny how that goes. There could be chages made all the time, but how are we supposed to know? I'm not gonna clear my cache every five minutes just in case, then go hunting for differences. Haha.
Nicely spotted, IF. I hadn't seen Ady's new avy. I remember the first time he changed it, I had to clear my cache to see it. :p
^You hear that, Ady? Now make it happen. ;)

scout walkers = whatever
It's a box on legs.
So's a gonk droid, but we'd never get rid of those! Haha. :)
I'll PM you about it. :)

Perhaps, but it's not done with the same amount of handsomeness, now is it?
For all we know, Buckethead looks like Ric's twin under that mask. :p

In terms of practicality none of the walkers really make sense in a universe where landspeeders and other gravity repulsed vehicles exist.
Yes, definitely a case for the 'coolness' factor. And I'm glad they chose coolness over practicality in this case. :)
Nice, I.F. Kinda chibi in body, but not even slightly in head. Heh.
Moth3r is probably annoyed at having to quote himself as a reminder to someone so soon after he originally said it.
Just helping out when Ric is not around.
As for the AT-ST, I kinda find it funny that there are people who didn't notice it. I've always found that, since they're shown so briefly, they stick out like a sore thumb. Before I saw ROTJ, I thought "wow, they have two-legged ones too?!" To that end, I'd hate to see them go in ESB:R, especially if Ady could smooth the animation a bit, but I can also understand why it would be taken out.
But seriously, where do y'alls think that the AT-ST is more impractical; Hoth or Endor? :p Tripping on logs and Ewoks, or tripping on chunks of ice and cracks in the ground? Sure they have big feet, but blimey, it must have some supercomputer that scans the ground around it all the time...

PS: I HATE THE NEW FORUM SIZE RESTRICTIONS :(
I'm thinking you're thinking it will create a lot of laziness because now that half the image isn't cut off, people see the whole thing...but won't bother with the right-click-->view image thing to see all the detail? Yes/no?
