I find many of those ideas appealing and filled with potential, though I can't get behind them all 100%. I need some time to think about them more, and some mock-ups would help if someone ends up putting any together out of the kindness of their heart.

Just watched and rated your clip SSWR. I really enjoyed it.
I don't like it when a scene is just getting established and then all of a sudden I, the audience member, get whisked away to another scene without warning. This is a problem I particularly had while watching The Phantom Edit. In this particular case I'm referring to the scene where Padmé is talking to Anakin while packing. I realize that there may not be much that can be done with it considering the amount of awful dialogue it contains, but I'd prefer to see it taken out completely rather than feeling like it's only half a scene. Still though, this is a fan edit, and if it can't be done then so be it. What matters is that the story is being serviced as best as possible.
Also, I am eager to see how those scenes with spliced footage look after their finished. It reminds me of how Adywan was able to add that extra clip of Wedge in ANH: Revisited by combining two different shots of his face, only this is a much more ambitious task. I particularly enjoyed the idea of Anakin playing with the trinket in the council chambers because it shows us that, for all his insistence that he is mature and capable, he really isn't.
Adywan, you should (assuming you haven't yet) get a shop mask from your local hardware store. And I don't mean a regualr old dust mask, I mean the kind that are meant to filter the air you breath if you're spending lots of time around dust or chemicals. I had a miserable time working in my theatre department's scene shop until I started using one of those.
Under what sort of curcumstances would additional/altered JerJerrod dialogue be needed in RotJ?

Agreed. The scuffle on Tatooine is a humorous blip in the continuing rivalry between Fett and Solo. If anything, it should contribute to Fett's character. Fett must know that he is a BAMF. How pissed off would you be if you were him and knew that you'd just gone out like a punk? It would be more motivation to get back at Solo. Of course, this all depends on whether or not you're like me and believe that Fett lived to fight another day after RotJ.
GL should have filmed that extra scene of him escaping the Sarlac pit and just placed it after the credits so that it would not have interfered with the pacing of the film. Hell, it wouldn't even have interfered with the pacing of the entire Saga because you know that RotJ is the last film. It would have been okay to, after 6 films of high tension and drama, have had a tongue in cheek moment after the end of the last film since we know that we don't have to get hyped up about any future films, especially if you think of the 6 episodes as one giant film.
That said, I will make no more posts about this subject in this thread since I agree that it doesn't really belong here.

"well for one there is something just not right about Vader's appearance in ROTS. Hayden just does not look right in the costume. His portrayal is just not Vader. look at the end scene when they are looking at the Death Star. he folds his arms. Vader in the OT would never have done that. I never noticed his boots in either Trilogy. They just never caught my eye. I don't think that they're the type of thing that draws one's attention unless they're actively looking for it.
As far as folding arms goes, that hardly seems like enough to justify calling Hayden's portrayal not "Vader enough." Don't get me wrong, I'm certain that, had Hayden been given more screen time, he would have totally screwed it up, but compared to all the other problems with the PT this is a relatively small blip. Also, if you want to look at it from an In-Universe POV, I must agree with Davnes007. Personality develops over time. Vader had after all gotten over his Teenage Angst by the time of ANH. Just because Vader didn't fold his arms in the OT doesn't mean he wouldn't have done it in the PT.
Still, I would like to see what you come up with before condemning it. So please, go for it!
