So, question. Now that the creators don't mind the work being circulated, does that mean that the revised ANH, in addidion to ESB and ROTJ are gonna be traded? If so, who wants to work out a deal?

Okay, I'm making a new thread for this because, while this is being heavily discussed in the Torrents thread, usenet isn't a torrent issue. Hence: new thread.

DarthOsor: can you, or possibly someone else, give a tutorial here so we can use this thing to our advantage rather than having to wait out torrents? This would especially be helpful to college students with a locked server like myself. I downloaded something off a binary group once, but it was just the one time and I quickly forgot the specifics.

I'm not asking people to not pay attention to your points. There are two sides of this argument and you're presenting both of them. I think anyone who reads what you wrote can see that. Perhaps this is a case of not being able to read inflection very well due to the fact that this is text-only, but just judging by the use of caps in your posts, I just think that things are about to become more heated than they need to be. If I'm wrong, please say so and I'll just bite my tongue.

I used TMBGEnc DVD Author for a while, then I was reccomended DVD-lab. I cannot believe its versatility. The DVDs I've authored in that thing look like I could have bought them off the rack, it's wonderful. Thanks for the consideration, though!

#2, the day after they came out. I told myself I could hold out till Christmas, but I geeked out too bad and I bought em. I don't regret it, either. Sure, I loathe some of the changes, but not all of them. Hey, they did make the rancor look a helluva lot better. They got some things right and others wrong. I also purchased the recent Driods and Ewoks releases and I'll be buying Clone Wars in a couple months. Because you know what? Every bootleg DVD I have and will have is just money that Lucas and the rest of LFL didn't get when they very well could have if they had done their job, and my collection currently stands at 26 discs...

This is the first issue of Mark Hamill's comic series "The Black Pearl" autographed by Hamill and collaborater Eric Johnson. Also of note is that this single-issue version features a panel of a female character topless, whereas the later released trade paperback edition had a bra drawn onto her. I've got two different sets of TV Guides from when TPM came out. One set is for May 15-21 and features four different original Drew Struzan illustrations. The other set, from June 12-18 is photos of digital characters from the film. I've got two copies of the Watto cover in that set. Both sets are in very good condition. I'm curious if there's a way to actually edit VOB files from a DVD as opposed to uncompressing the entire VOB, editing, then recompressing the video. I know that using DVD Decrypter, you can take specific chapters out, but the clips I want to take are part of the same chapter and I don't want the whole thing. Any solutions?

I'm curious as to why three people here have the whole set. Are the creators friends of yours or friend of a friend or what?

Believe me, I totally understand the honor amongst thieves thing. I've adhered to the same request to keep things to myself before. But I'm just curious as to why someone would take so much time and put so much care (it seems) into a really wonderful set and then not want it distributed?

Whoever did other isolated score version should have used the insanoid dance mix of "Yub Nub". Maaaaan, I can never get over how 3P0's stoytelling scene is RAPPED.

I just really want to hear how Lapti Nek and the sail barge on Jedi were handled, and that's most of the reason I want to get the rest of the set, if not just for completeness sake. I understand your position, though, so I don't blame you.

Do you know how the isolated score tracks on this set compares to the ISOMIX version? Specifically, did these guys magically find the film version of "Lapti Nek" and the Jabba's barge music? If so, I NEED THE JEDI DISC

I've got a VHS of a tecline of the original 1977 version, and I'm pretty sure it's the mono mix. It has the original Beru voice and "Blast it, Wedge!". I'm looking into getting it put onto DVD so I can work with the audio track easier.

Speaking of which, anyone wanna put a VHS onto DVD for me?
