I did and I love it. Picture quality is great and the blacks are rock solid. (One of the things that bugged me about every previous version I saw was that the blacks were all dark greys.) The "movie edit" works really well. Just don't listen to the commentary, unless you want to hear Genndy Tartakovsky state the obvious (e.g. "That guy just jumped in, shot it up, jumped out and then it blew up.").

Info & Offer: Sorta Off-Topic - for laserdisc buffs; free laserdisc info documentary
Time

Recently, I acquired a DVD rip of a promo laserdisc that Pioneer issued in 1984, meant for instore play. It’s hosted by the band DEVO (which is the reason I have it). They read some very bad script praising how great the laserdisc is and there’s some early commercials for the format (one featuring Ray Charles!) and some info about the laserdisc process and inner workings. It’s about a half hour long. Very interesting to watch, and often times just funny. Only thing is it’s very badly riddled with disc rot, so it’s not PERFECT, but it’s definitely watchable and enjoyable. The funniest part about it is how much there is in it about how “laserdisc is forever” and it will never degrade like analog mediums, yet it’s so badly plagued by disc rot!

Anyway, I figured I’d posted about this to see if anyone would like a copy. If you do, reply here or PM me.

(Note: I’m not selling this, just trading, so no banning please )

No, in fact, I did not. <offtopic>When I was applying for an email address at mail.com, there was the offer of the minister.com email domain. I thought "Reverend Beastly" sounded cool, which I still do. Since then, though, I have actually become a reverend in both the Universal Life Church of California and the Church of the SubGenius. Yep.</offtopic>
