Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the author of Peter Pan donate the rights to Disney before they became all evil and uber-powerful? Or was that just propaganda I remember hearing from some point?

Hmmm... I've only seen one that was a Torrent. It had the Kenner commercials and the Muppet Show as well. What is the "unauthorized white" version? How does it differ from the "eBay" version?

The version in the torrent was the "unauthorized white" and seems to be the most widely distributed. The "eBay" version was transferred from a much lower-gen source. It has a bunch of DVD-ROM stuff with promo images from the special and whatnot. As easter eggs, there's a newsclip about it and the original Kenner commercial that was aired with it. Here's some screencaps.

There are a few different Angrysun editions. I have the "unauthorized white" version and the "eBay" version. The "eBay" version looks absolutely fantastic, like you're watching it right on TV in 1978.

Absolutely seamless changes takes careful work and planning for both the audio and video - down to the frame. Rikter was not able to see any "swaps" or "flips" on my transfer.

Maybe I should make Rikter torrent it?

I'd love to see it, personally.

Not true. I have a strong distaste for what he's done to the Original Trilogy, and I think that he's taking it a bit too far with the computer imagery in the new movies (the last two aren't really films, eh?), but I can say that I genuinely like a lot of TPM and that I really like AOTC, and I honestly can't imagine myself disliking ROTS at all. Yeah, I dislike what he's done, but I don't hate him for it. I don't love him, either, because of aformentioned reasons. Somewhere happily in the middle.

I know that every OOT set except one (Spider's, I think?) has de-interlaced the raw video for the final DVD. Can someone tell me how to effectively do this and if it's possible with a source that was initially interlaced (e.g. DV video)? I tried to do this in Adobe Media Encoder, but it didn't seem to quite work.

Just got finished watching my Deleted Magic disc and all I can say is wow. I can't imagine the time it must've taken to amass the necessary materials and compile them together in this way. And although I had seen most of the footage before, never before in such a spectacular presentation. This really should be appended to the official Lucasfilm DVD set. Either that or Lucasfilm should hire Garrett to re-make this using original source materials rather than bootlegs upon bootlegs of various specials.

I applaud you, Garrett, as many others here have. I look forward to seeing a possible version 2.0 and to just what exactly you'll do to Empire and Jedi in the long run.
