I'd love to see the Jersey Girl "extended" early cut, since it supposedly was much longer than the released version, and remains a relatively barebones DVD thus far. (although, it may see the light of day now that Clerks X and the Mallrats 10th Anniversary cuts have come out)

There's surprisingly little extra stuff in the J&SBSB workprint. The only things I can remember were actuall things that weren't on the DVD: a shorter edit of the hooker scene (I'd assume it was their attempt to make it pass R) and an extension of the showdown outside the restaurant that was pretty funny. I'm going to be done a fan edit of the flick soon that reinstates all of the deleted scenes from the DVD, plus the showdown extension that I'm gonna take from my VHS.

The extended version of Jersey Girl actually does have a lot of extra material, I think around 40mins worth, but I may be pulling that figure out of my ass. Either way, though, it is something that Kevin does want to release at some point.

Good for you, but that really isn't adding anything to this thread. You've been making a lot of really pointless posts tonight, and I emplore you (and I'm sure others would like this to) to please make your posts relevant to the topic at hand. Just because this thread mentions "Fight Club" doesn't mean we have to know that you've never seen it.

And what exactly does this have to do with preservation efforts?

Look at the clip, it's obvious why someone would want to post that in this section of the forum. The character describes a product that all of us mourn the non-existence of and one that we're trying to do ourselves.

That doesn't excuse the fact that this is the second thread about it, though.

And there are people who vividly remember seeing a TV broadcast of Star Wars with the Biggs scenes intact. That doesn't mean it's true.

OK but the biggs scenes are available.

At the time this was being claimed, though, they weren't. This was around 1995 or so when more than one person wrote a letter to Star Wars Insider and Steve Sansweet put the debate to rest.

Segaflip's 'Night of the Living Dead' - 25th Anniversary Transfer (Released)

I'm curious as to why, exactly, this has an edge over the Millennium Edition DVD (I think that's the not-crappy one, anyway). I mean, at least in terms of the transfer. I don't think that those commentaries are on there. You could just so what DigitalFreakNYC did with Se7en and take an already existing, good DVD transfer and sync up the audio from the commentaries to that.

Info: Does Anyone Have The Old Original Theater Bootleg '77 Tape? (Released)
Time
I have a DVD that MeBeJedi made from a VHS copy I have of this.

Just to be perfectly clear on what this is, it's a very high-generation (i.e. low quality) copy of a telecine of the original 1977 release of Star Wars with the mono soundtrack and original crawl. It doesn't look or sound very good, but it's a neat record of something long forgotten. The DVD itself has both a 1.0 Dolby track and 2.0 (dual mono) PCM track, so it could be used for other projects.

I can't be making a bunch of copies of this, because I'm running low on resources, but I'll be more than happy to make a copy for someone who could then give it a bit more distribution.
