***The Official NON-Star Wars FAN EDIT*** Release Thread

The Arnie Super Edit sounds cool. You can actually make a sequel, too:

-Get Your Ass to Mars: The Arnie Super Edit Part I: elements from action/sci-fi heavy Terminator, Commando, Raw Deal, Red Heat, Predator, Total Recall, Running Man, Last Action Hero, 6th Day, End of Days, and Collateral Damage, etc. Possible storyline: using Recall as the basis, Arnie is lost in time, and spends the movie trying to get back to the red planet to his own time... or is he?

-The Pregnant Man: Arnie Super Edit Part II: the lighter Arnie fare: Twins, Kindergarten Cop, Junior, Jingle All the Way, etc.

Those sound really good. See, I had the idea, I just didn't have any way to go about seeing them through. I would love if someone tackled this, or even just made a tailer for one of them. I would seriously pay to see "The Pregnant Man".

George Lucas Caught Up in Union Battle

Speaking as a film major currently in college, I can attest to the fact that it can be frustrating, however mostly awesome it is. There are times when you just want to not have to do anything and have a finished product, and that just can't happen.

Speaking specifically to sound work, an experimental short I did with a friend last year heavily relied on the sound we created for it and we have to creatively use it. The end result was very cool and extremely satisfying to the both of us, but you have no idea how much of a pain in the ass it was to do in the first place.

Cable, if you need it proven to you that making a movie is something usually as frustrating as it is fun, I would challenge you to make a Star Wars fanfilm. It would involve a fair amount of initial effort to shoot and a fair amount of post-production sound work. If you do that and come back here saying you felt no frustration, I think we'd all shut up.

Classic Edition: The Empire Strikes Back by Ocpmovie (Released)

Holy god that last one is nice. Make a whole set like this and I will love you forever. Not that I don't already because of the other amazing covers.

I also might add that I'm never inspired to actually pint out covers and buy empty cases anymore, except if the covers are really good. This set and the upcoming "Hologram" set that someone else is working on right now are inspiring me to buy some more empty cases.

Hologram style DVD Set

Mostly, just ADigitalMan's edits of the prequels. Episode I is "A Vergence in the Force" and Episode II is "Path to the Dark Side". I think he's leaving Ep III's title alone. And then somewhere on the pack perhaps, make a note that it's the ADM Special Edition set.

I just got his set and it would be nice to keep them all on the shelf nicely uniform and whatnot.
