Two More Questions about Using Womble
Time
Klokwerk linked to the wonderful DivXLand Media Subtitler in a thread I made about subtitling things and it's amazing. There's a video preview window, and a box to enter text in and when you want the subtitle to appear, while the video is playing, you hit the "apply" button and it writes the timecode for that subtitle. Then you can export it in any number of formats. The only problem I ran into was that since the video window is Windows Media Player, it wouldn't play MPEG2 for me properly, so I just converted what I was working with to a low-quality XviD file to work with and the subtitles I created sync up perfectly.

Info & For Use: Ace Ventura Pet Detective - tv footage
Time
I think the best method to spread stuff is the Pay-It-Forward method. One person sends another a set of discs, that person copies it for one or more people and sends it on, etc.

I have the Crow workprint (on VHS) and the Fight Club workprint, but the Stash Bash and the Skull Cowboy stuff, I'd really be interested in. Can you turn on your PMs? I want to send you my list so that we might work out a trade.

How Did You Find OT.com?

Yeah, but it certainly puts things in perspective. From other random posts of yours here and there, it just seemed like you had this vendetta against him for no real reason, other than the fact that The Digital Bits posts every news story I read at two other sites a day or more after I read it to begin with.

On topic, I originally found the petition linked from DVDFile.com (before that site went to the crapper). I signed the petition and then came back again later after finding Prillman's site and buying a copy of the SWHS on eBay. This is definitely my favorite of all the forums I've been on.

Creating subtitles
Time
I'm trying to create a set of English subtitles for the Japanese cut of Johnny Mnemonic, which has the scenes where Japanese is spoken only in Japanese. I have a copy of the screenplay to guide me. I tried using the subtitle tool in DVD-lab, but this is too imprecise for me. Does anyone know of a program that allows the user to view and monitor the video/audio as they are creating the subtitles, or something like that?

Or just any tips in general?

Before anyone mentions it, I checked Doom9's guides and they pretty much only cover manipulating existing subtitle tracks.
