I've got a copy of this, too and I've been planning a composite version of it, using official DVD footage wherever possible (overdubbing necessary audio) and cutting in the extra scenes where needed. I'll post back about that here when I actually do it.

I've thought about this too, but it would be pretty impossible. The lost cut had no score, on-set sound (no effects), a bunch of alternate takes being used for the editing and a lot of unfinished special effects shots that we wouldn't have access to. You could roughly approximate it by taking all of tha available footage from it (using Deleted Magic as your primary source, probably), but then you'd have to make all of the footage black and white and you'd also have to try to mix just the dialogue out of the 5.1 mix on the DVD to get rid of the sound effects and music.

I did this, but it was for my own personal use and it looks like garbage. I just did it to watch it and see what it was like. I stretched all of the already terrible-looking deleted scenes to be anamorphic, making them look worse, and then compressed the 2hr 53min cut to a single-layer DVD. If you bear all that in mind and still want a copy, I can make you one.

I can vouch for this player as well. I have one and, being away at college, it is my main player right now. There have been very few discs that it hasn't played without flaw, of any sort, and I've played PAL and reigons 1, 2 and 4 without issue.

Please, the lightsabers on the 2004 DVDs look like they were Photoshopped by a retarded 6-year-old. Compare them to the prequels, even, there's a world of damn difference.

Well, as of yet, I only have one non-official BR DVD, and that's a rip of the International Cut. Everything else in that collection, I don't have yet, so it would help people like me. Plus, an isolated score would be sweetness.

Go easy on the punctuation. All of those question marks made my brain hurt.

And it's not a workprint of the whole film, it's just a workprint version of the 1997 SE ending. I don't even recall it being that different.
