I have the Billy Dee Williams-hosted broadcast on tape. They did the whole trilogy. The tapes are pretty old, and in SLP, but I could make a DVD out of the host segments this summer.

As stated, there are English and Japanese soundtracks. There are certain scenes that were just in Japanese. That's how they were written, that's how they were shot, etc. Get my drift? This DVD features English subtitles for those scenes only.

Do you mean the original Japanese DVD? That would be cool, but if I recall correctly, it's jewel case-sized and not armaray case-sized, so the artwork would have to be altered.

Tiffs would make sense. Subtitles on DVDs are not text, they're bitmap images. Programs that rip subtitles are actually just recognizing text from pictures and creating text documents.

You don't need a DVD recorder, you need a DVD-ROM drive and a DVD burner. It's an extremely simple process. Your computer being garbage, on the other hand, is a fair excuse.

It's reasonably common because it's so infamous. I have a copy, but unless you have a trade list, I'm really too swamped to send out a freebie right now. Maybe in a few weeks, though.
