I suffer from horrible anxiety and panic attacks that totally prevent me from seeing any movie in theaters, does that count?

Actually my ability to even watch movies period has become somewhat questionable.  I've gotten to where sitting and doing nothing and watching something makes me extremely nervous.  If I watch a movie I must also be noodling on a guitar absentmindedly or I just can't take it.

I made myself watch Fellowship of the Ring the other day without doing anything and just watching.  It was extremely enjoyable and gratifying and awesome, but there were times I didn't think I was going to be able to take it. 

I should probably see a doctor.

I am in full possession (HA!) of the facts, and there are no secret disagreements or anything like that.  I think it is like what bingowings suggested, it's a medical issue with her.  As I said, she also immediately cut ties with her parents, her siblings, her friends (except her new friends), and even me.  I get what you guys are saying, and I do understand their right to fall out of love, but the way she is shunning him is unacceptable.  And it's not just him, it's her whole entire family.  She won't take to any of them, which is a pretty strong indicator that the problem was not with my dad, or she would be complaining about it to her parents, or at least talking to them in SOME way, considering she was very close to them until a little while ago when she abruptly cut ties with them at the same time as us, which to me signifies the problem is with her and not us.

Also, bingo said there may be more to the disconnection with my father than I know about, but as I said, it's not just my father, it's her entire family, and all at the same time, which to me screams out that it is some kind of problem within her that we just happen to be unlucky to be a part of.

I know this is a bit off topic, but when I make my own edit of the Phantom Menace, (which I will) what do you guys think about adding the music from Tie Fighters attacking the Falcon from EPIV a new  hope to the podrace?  I think it would fit great and it would remind me of the a new hope video game for super nintendo when it is used in the speeder level...

My mother is filing for divorce from my dad after 24 years.  It's very upsetting. Not least because he didn't do anything to deserve it.  He was always good with her.  And not only is she leaving him, she refuses to even talk to him at all for any reason.  Like he did something.  He tried to send her money to pay for the phone bill (because at the time they were still on the same plan) and she got mad about that, but kept that money anyway, which is a load of horse shit.  He didn't do anything wrong and would do anything for her and he is totally blindsided and depressed over it.  I know people 'fall out of love' or whatever, but he is still in love with her and just leaving him wasn't enough for her, she has to completely shun him and act like he doesn't exist after being married for 24 years and treating her like a queen for all of it and as thanks for all he did for her she acts like he doesn't exist and makes him feel small and miserable and useless and just in general shitty as you would imagine if your wife all the sudden acts like you don't exist for no reason.  She won't talk to her parents anymore either.   Think she's going crazy, which is not just me venting, I really think so.  She was close to her parents, now when they drive all the way here (from out of state mind you) she won't even speak with them.    What a load of horse shit.

I know exactly what your talking about, and no the ones that support texture packs don't do this unfortunately.  I have to disagree though.  Have you tried the "community" texture pack for OOT?  It's about 700 mb.  But everythings the same art style as the original nothings changed, it's as similar as possible to the original textures except everything is just MUCH more detailed.  It's much better than upscaling the original textures IMO, since it doesn't change the feel of the original at all just makes it more detailed.

Playing Ocarina of Time:Master Quest (zelda).  It's amazing, it actually makes Ocarina of time challenging again as if playing for the first time.  Kinda feels like ocarina of time meets a link to the past.  (More enemies in every room, having to defeat all enemies in a room to open the door, enemies overall just being bastards, etc) and the reworked puzzles really make this game fresh again.  Even if master quest did come out in 2003, I've never played it before. It's definitely alot harder than the original.

Hmm... I'm torn on that one.  I agree, I like it too, I would want it kept.  The only problem is, this was supposed to be a preservation of the attack of the phantom cut.  If I change that, it becomes my own edit.  Except that it's not my own edit, because 99% of it will be the phantom cut.  What an issue...

but let's not pretend the pre BD had excellent colors either :P In fact that gives me an idea... I wonder what it would look like if I were to apply a histogram to the blue ray video to try to get it to match a histogram of the original star wars trilogy GOUT?  Hmmm.  I'd obviously have to bump the saturation back up a bit if I did that since the gout is a little washed out, but the color that's left is far more natural.

Hmm, perhaps but the bluray has overall better quality even with the tint, seems like it would be more productive to just remove the tint.  And like I said, once Emansfans version with complete color correction and film grain and some of the cg manipulated to look more like models (if you aren't following his thread, you should be) it will be the version I make a V2 with.

Indeed, thanks for the support.  I will do attack of the phantom with video sourced straight from blue ray, then when emansfans filmized versions come out it will get a v2 to accommodate the (sure to be) superior version.

Fair enough.  I thought you meant that for both films though, because I am doing attack of the phantom.  I see now I misunderstood you, because everything you said makes more sense to me now when applied only to the phantom edit.  My apologies

Agreed, but I think those are minor quibbles, and actually next to First Contact I would go so far as to say Nemesis is the best TNG movie.  Not that that's really saying ALL that much...

The blue tint may have been lucas's lazy assed way at making the outdoor scenes look colder, then he forgot to not have it for the whole movie.  I don't want to give him too much credit for the idea actually being a creative one though.

It was written by a stupid teenager.  He's the sort who likes to stare at womens breasts and if they tell him to stop he'll simply go around telling everyone she wanted him.  I saw the review first before I saw who wrote it and was like "ugh, what an idiot", then I saw who wrote it and thought "yep, that's about right."

To be truthful, when I was in school there were times I was legitimately concerned he might bring a gun to school and shoot the place up because of how much everybody hated him.  I'm not trying to be funny, I'm serious.  And it's not a sad story, he brought it all on himself.

He stated in his review that the person was elderly and sick, so it appears to have been bad luck.  But his review didn't even MENTION the food.  ALL it says is, and I quote:
"Some old sick lady died while I was there! Totally ruined my meal. Boolsticks"2/5

WTF.  I can't believe they even accepted that review, doesn't even talk about the food or the service or the restaurant at all (all of which are very good in actuality)
