Shamelessly bumping this thread just to promote and perhaps gather the interest of people who don't browse some secitions of the forum to my Inuyasha fan editing project.  It's basic aim is to make Inuyasha as awesome as it could have been without all the distractions.

My only requirement is that you capture at least a short video of the competition where the song is playing so that I can show my family.  :)

Well, personally I'm okay with it, except that I didn't write that song or any of the songs on the album.  They are all covers, and since I never intended to sell or make any money off of them, even though I'm the one performing the tracks on the recordings I don't have the rights to the compositions themselves.  It's written by the band Kalmah.  As long as this competition is not commercial in nature and no profits are to be made I don't see why not, but just be careful.  I wouldn't want us to land in hot water over something I did for pure enjoyment with no monetary intentions in mind.  Not that this is very likely to happen or anything, just being paranoid.

No worries with me, was just a one time thing brought on by working outside in the sun longer than what I'm used to and not drinking enough while doing so.  I'm only 21 so I'd say the chances of me contracting heart disease in the near future are pretty low.  And yes Praetor I do eat my vegetables.  :)  I have a pretty healthy diet.  No precooked packaged food, mostly just fresh meats and veggies.

By children of your own, do you mean as a single parent and without a woman?  Or do you mean children brought out of a monogamous relationship where the biological mother and father of the child are still together and raise the child together without step-parents and the like.  (A novel concept anymore it seems)

From my perspective, waiting until marriage makes sense.  I haven't done this, but it makes sense and sometimes I wish I had.  I've grown deeply attached to every woman I've had sex with in the past, and then when the relationship is no more I always take it pretty hard.  In this context, it would make sense for someone with my psyche to wait until marriage to have sex again to avoid this pain.  But will I?  Probably not.

I abandoned this soon after making this post, but I've taken it back up again.  I already have two episodes edited down and pieced together (the first two), and am about to start on editing a third episode (which I think I will jump from episode 2 to 5).  Anybody familiar with the series that wants to provide input on things that can go/things that must stay are greatly appreciated.  Any help on organizing things, which episodes should go together and which episodes aren't needed is welcome too.

So far DrCrow is providing some input to me via PM, but I would love to get a more public take on this project.  (Not that you're private messages are unwelcome or unsatisfactory Crow, quite the contrary)

Today my grandma went back home to West Virginia after a short 3 day visit here.  This is the wife of my grandpa that passed away earlier this year.  Because of her health I will most likely never see her again.  My other grandma on the other side of the family has about 5 years 10 tops left too.

If that wasn't enough, one of my cats died later this afternoon.  He was old.  He had disappeared for a few days and nobody knew where he was.  He reappeared this afternoon and his face was completely mutilated by an infection that had apparently set in from some animal that seemed to have bit him on the fact.  It was all bloody, swollen, and smelled of rotting flesh.  He was obviously suffering horribly but he was still alive.  He came and rubbed on me like he always does and purred, but I think he knew as well as I did that it was the end.  I was able to get ahold of a vet willing to put him down on a Saturday.  After I set with him in the driveway for a while, I finally had to go get the pet carrier.  I told him to get in.  He came up to me, looked me in the eye, put his paw on my hand and meowed one last time at me like he knew it was the end and was saying bye.  Then he went in the carrier without resisting and it was over.  He was like my best friend.  I love my other 2 cats, but it was different with him.  He didn't expect anything or cry for attention, all he ever needed was to be in my presence.   If he was just sitting next to me, even if I wasn't petting him, he was happy... almost like a dog.  Needless to say I'm in tears.  I'll miss him.  I wish this didn't have to happen on the same day that I saw my grandma for the last time.  

How old are we? Combined we've got to be at least 200.

 Well, I dunno if they were directly hurt by this thread, but apparently this thread inspired Danfun to create his own (bandwagon jumping, imho) version of this thread for a bunny team, and he was so offended by the lack of join up that he has left, albeit he says it's temporary.  Check the thread for people leaving.

I know the guy has issues, but jee whiz seriously?  All he did was create his own copycat version of this thread (in my opinion just to share some of the attention.  Not that I don't like the guy, cuz I do and I hope he comes back, but that thread really got on my nerves) and then get offended when it didn't have the response this thread did, even though THE WHOLE THING IS A F***D*** JOKE ANYWAY.  UGH.
