The other possibility is that you're an amateur musician and people in general are uninterested in amateur musicians because there are so many. Again, the talent doesn't matter. People like listening to people that are popular. Again, don't take it personally.

I think that's the biggest part of it honestly.

And yes I do make them for me, but at the same time I put alot of my feeling and how I think into them so it'd be nice for others to appreciate it.

Although I will be making some non-metal covers soon.  (Already did one of That's the Way by Led Zeppelin) which I think could get more appreciation.  And I'm not doing this BECAUSE I want more appreciation, I guess I'm just tired of the limitations of the style of music I've been doing, and lately pop/rock with a slightly metallic attitude toward them is just what I'm feeling more lately.  I can say more with them.

I am strongly considering giving up music for good after I make 2 more CD's.  I am sick to death of working for hours and hours on the mixes of this stuff and then having to beg people to listen to it, and nobody (hardly) is listening to it.  Almost all the feedback I've gotten from the people that have listened to it has been positive, yet even with this information that "everybody that's listened to it has liked it" I just can't get people to listen to it.  Nobody wants to hear.  Not that I blame anybody or take it personally, but it's just extremely discouraging that after I work for hours making the arrangements then recording (most of my songs have 4 guitar parts and a bass part, whether the original song had all this or not) and nobody wants to take 3 minutes to listen to it.  And again, I don't take that personally, but it's very discouraging all the same.

To owners of Dolby Pro Logic amplifiers: help needed!

Alas, I used to have a set up to do this, and I still have it, but unfortunately I've converted my set up to be music only and have thus changed the surround speakers into being cabinet speakers that are simply a little smaller than the front speakers, then moved them to be on the wall above the front speakers (giving literal meaning to the term, "Wall of Sound" hehe)

I don't know if this will help you or not, but do you have the video editing program "Womble"?  Because if you do, you can drag your 2.0 DPL2 track onto your timeline and export it, and under your export options if you select a 5.1 ac3 as your output file it will do a PLII upmix for you and then your file will be like it would have been if played on the right hardware.

If you like I'd be willing to do that for you.

By the way Praetor, do you want my second album?  Admittedly it isn't as good as my first, but it's not horrible.  :)  The guitar playing is better and more "professional", but it just doesn't sound as inspired or energetic as the first one did.  Due to this reason I'm significantly changing song styles for my third.  But in the meantime my second is done if you'd like it.

I can't even seem to get anybody else besides you or your son to give it a try.  :)

For some reason I'm having trouble loading anything google related on my internet.  I can't for the life of me figure out why.  My internet's not running slow, I'm able to stream 1080P videos just fine, download files easily.  But for some reason anything affiliated with google either takes forever to load and then only partially or won't load at all.  Youtube is a nightmare, I'm barely able to check my gmail account, and I've had to resort to... shudder... other search engines besides google.  I don't get it.  I did recently switch routers and wifi networks, but they are working completely fine other than this so I don't know if it's related or not.
