Hahaha... facebook has a pirate setting for language I never noticed.  I love it!

It gets better than that.  Every time you visit a new page it changes it up slightly.  Earlier it said "The bilge rat *John Doe* be likin' this".  Then later it said "*John Doe and 3 other mateys be takin' a fancy t' this 'ere"

I love it.

Wasn't X7 considered worse?

Damn, you were right.  I forgotten how awful X7 was. X6 had terrible, awful, atrocious level and boss design but it least it still had a game engine that was fun to play.  The only thing about X7 that's even remotely fun is using the Z-Saber, and it's practically useless anyway.  Everything about this game is truly terrible.  They even took concepts which should have been fun and managed to make them infuriating.  This game wouldn't even be very hard if it weren't for the atrocious camera angles and horrible response time/character control.  Holy shit, X8 better be better (never played it before) or else next time I go through this series I'm stopping at X5 (which was the original intended ending anyway.)

Fortunately as the game wore on I started enjoying it much more, it became much more fun and balanced once I acquired all the powerups.  (and apparently whenever I start the game over next time I get to keep all the powerups I acquired on my last playthrough even if I start from the beginning, which is a major plus and means the next time I go through this series X7 will be much less of a headache)

After that I took a break from the action MegaMan X games and tried Mega Man X Command Mission, a turn based RPG.  Surprisingly, it was actually really good.  (I say surprisingly because the series was in a downward slope at that point, and making an RPG out of Mega Man X just sounds absurd on paper)  I enjoyed it, and as a first for ANY Mega Man game, it had good voice acting.

Now I've moved on to X8, and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised, it's easily the best (action based) entry since X5, and I've enjoyed it quite a bit.  One thing I really like about it is that it gave the 'edge' back to the series that it had been missing since the SNES games.  The SNES games were dark, brutal, and tough. The soundtrack featured (poorly synthesized though they may be) rock/heavy metal tunes and distorted guitars and really just gave it a full-metal feel.  Then the playstation games came, and while they were still fun games and the story still had the dark edge to it, the games were much easy, the soundtrack had more of a synthpop feel to it (which I'll admit was actually done pretty well, it just wasn't what I was used to), and for the first time we hear X talk and it has no edge whatsoever.  Finally, X8, brought back the rough tunes and heavy guitars to the soundtrack, also they kept the voice actors from Command Mission which means the voices are also good and actually fit the characters.  X7's voice acting was terrible except for Sigma.

I really hate when the word 'random' is used in place of 'various'.
This site has several offending thread titles, but I can deal. It's been popping up everywhere in go though.
It bugs me almost as much as hearing people say "I could care less".
At least it doesn't have the opposite meaning of what is meant.

 https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/could_care_less

Like it or not, it's a well-established English phrase, though I avoid using it myself at all costs (not quite all, but a good number of them).

I don't think he was contesting whether it was used regularly or not...
